This session will enable participants to identify children who are at risk for celiac disease and use the most appropriate serological tests to screen for the condition. The importance of confirming the diagnosis of celiac disease before starting treatment will be emphasized. Participants will be introduced to the concept of non-celiac disease gluten sensitivity and will be able to discuss how this differs from celiac disease with the patient and their family.
