    When I lived at my other place, I farmed that whole 20 acres every summer for a couple years with horses and mules. And that walking plow I am plowing with now. I’ve plowed at least 10 acres at a time with it. Takes a while but it works. And yessir, it’s work. Thanks for the kind words and for watching!!! I appreciate it

    In, 1963, was spending a few days with aunt and uncle. He put hay up in barn loose, and had a loader that went beside the hay wagon not behind it. At, 11 years of age, it was exciting to help put the hay in barn as a city boy. By the way my 15 year old cousin didn't wear shoes, so city boy myself didn't wear any either. It was a great learning experience.

    Cool 😎 I’ve never saw a side loading loose hay setup. Just behind. I’ve saw bale pickers that would mount beside the wagon and scoop up square bales of hay tho. Thanks for sharing and thanks a bunch for watching! I greatly appreciate it!

    One of your best videos yet. The little mules sure enough had no quit in them. The log wagon looks like it can be stretched to accommodate longer logs if I'm not mistaken. I would drive down from Wisconsin just to try the ice cream!

    I'm glad to see, Mr. Odom, that you have some time these days to go to fun events and enjoy yourself outside of your usual work. But I am sure you enjoy yourself at your work, too. Those Belgians stepping over the stiff tongue are pretty amazing, also dependable. Their owner hooked up the double-tree before he fastened the neck-yoke chains, usually not to be recommended.

  • @zachodom7486

    @zachodom7486

    That’s true on how he hooked, but as much as he’s worked his horses and their ages…he’s figured out what’s most efficient and does what works for him and his stock. I do agree with you. But this isn’t a normally situation or normal horses either imho of course. Thank you for always watching and commenting! I surely appreciate you. And thanks for the kind words

    This is another great video. The draft horses of Jeff’s did real fine, when I saw that one draft horse step over the tongue of that log wagon I was amazed. The power the draft horses displayed pulling that semi trailer with the brakes locked, man that was somethin . I shore would like to come up there when they have that again and spend the day there watching and visiting. I can work if I’m needed doing whatever. Mrs. Marcie did a great job How would I find out the information on that event. Those two little mules were gittin it done. Grateful for the Edward folks for putting this on, WOW
