I don't like commercial fishing videos as much as when you go out with Brook and I can see you cleaning and cooking what you caught. Love your channel, Vik! Lots of hugs from Lima, Peru!

I love your channel. I am from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 but am living in Peru 🇵🇪. I miss my spearfishing and diving. I did this just for over 40 years. I usually went out after work weekdays and stayed until after dark when you could see the lobsters eyes shining. Then Saturday all day. I and my wife totally enjoy you and Brooke videos. Commercial fishing is one of the hardest lives out there. I did it for 3 years when I was younger I couldn't even imagine doing it now. Everybody thinks it's so easy to go out and just reel fish all day. There's so much more than that and the abuse your body takes over the years it's just ridiculous. I wish you guys the best of course . Catch them up!

@@kevinwilliam5879 everything hurts especially or time. The other thing is my hands they would peel from the salt water it would drive me ape shit! As much as I love catching huge grouper, snapper ,amberjack, kingfish he'll even catching bait I could only do it for so long. Not to mention sometimes the weather got so bad out there I even wondered I was going to make it home some days.😅😅😅

I wish I was on that boat with you guys. I love fishing. And me n my family are on vacation at mertle beach sc. I went on a charter for a 4 hour fishing trip for the first time in my life and it sucked cuz there was way way to many people on the boat. Plus they said 4 hours fishing . But it took 1 hour to go out and we only got to fish for about 1 1/2 hours cuz they moved 5 times so that took 20 minutes of our fishing time away. Plus 1 hour coming in. So a 4 hour trip n we only got to fish 11/2 hours. Plus another 15 minutes lost from being snagged with other lines cuz the people are shoulder to shoulder fishing. So I got to fish a total of 1 hour.. I was bumbed. When the real trip was supposed to be 8 hours out to the continental shelf. But the capital didn’t want to do that trip. Worried about the weather. And it wasn’t even white capping. And it’s 8:30 pm now and the ocean is still nice out.. many of us was very disappointed...

God that was so beautiful sea 😎 Now in my country was so bad 😭 Good luck bro🔥👍

Them mackerels st8 killing ..its like fishing for stripers when they're active

we saw the kraken spoon on MWF, we saw the surgical tubing on land shark, lets see the super special secret sabiki style rigs the commercial boys are using out there to pull em in 2-3 at a time

We used to use McDonalds straws and a treble hook on the bottom of the rig

Have you tried using the Glass Minnows on a triple gang #3 or #4? That is a rig I use a lot here in Australia for Tailor, Mackerel and Larger Bream.
