as a child we use to catch them from time to time. The "summer flue" was common. 30 years later I realize these cousins of the crow had the west nile virus and are very tame while they are sick.

I've always wanted to do that! They just look so silky... He's surprisingly calm though!

How did you catch it?I'll see them all the time when I'm in Mexico, love their song.

I live in Rockport TX. & I'm trying to find out what kind of black birds we have here, I'll have to get some photos of ours to better compare with your. Thanks P.S. Yes I got a good look at one today, they are the same, they seem to be here in the cooler time of the year more than summer. To hot I guess. Thanks again.
