I used to watch these with Grandma, who passed away in 2008. I miss her & watching these with her. Rest easy man. ❤️

Had the chance to meet Roy Walker yesterday. Great man. Remember watching Catchphrase in my Grandads every Saturday. Brings back so many great memories.

Wow iv never seen an old catchphrase before there was no mr chips? I was 3 when this was on I’m loving this lol.

The good old days of television. A shame they don't do TV shows like that anymore.

Roy Walker was the best fit for this show.

0:29 - As a kid I always wondered why he introduced the show as 'Catch Fizz'.

I used to watch this all the time in England... One of my favourite memories that and shoe people😆

4:10 even as a kid I thought that background tune was wicked

Even having 2 video recorders & 2 TV's at the time this still was not enough, so if a programme overran on another channel, i could end up missing the start of another, hence the lack of titles here.

When you started uploading episodes of series 6 you mentioned that the first four episodes where missing. I'm thinking this might be one of them, though I could be wrong.

The missing ones was on another tape which i have not found, it looks like series 6 & 7 was recored as one series but split to form series 6 & 7, series 7 was a short run.

I was hoping to see the commercials!! the entire reason for the show in the first place....

UK/EU game shows are so, so cheap. I wish the idea of "you win on a game show, you should have enough money to entirely change your life" would catch on across the pond as it has in the US.

Completely disagree. The catchphrases are more varied in Stephen Mulhern’s version, and the CGI makes the game more fun and interesting to play.
