TVS - Television South
Television South (TVS) was the ITV franchise holder in the south and south east of England between 1 January 1982 at 9.30am and the night of 31 December 1992 at midnight. The company operated under various names, initially as Television South plc and then following reorganisation in 1989 as TVS Entertainment plc, with its UK broadcasting arm referred to as TVS Television plc. This channel shows some of the shows made by TVS.

I never heard of go getters but this is great show
I remember this programme so well i do remember the other lady she was so lovely
_Go Getters_ ran for four series between 1989 and 1996. The fourth series was to have been shown on CITV in 1994, but participant Craig Charles' court case meant the series was dropped; it was eventually shown in some ITV regions in 1996 - in the Anglia, Meridian, HTV West, Granada and Yorkshire regions according to the UKGameshows website. So this series, the third, was the last to be screened across the entire ITV network.
The best that has ever been or ever will b an that's a fact
It's ironic that Robinson's barley in 2024 contains all of the things that this advert says you will not find in their 1986 product.

6:14 If I ever go to Bruxelles, I will go to the RTBF/VRT tower yelling “THERE’S THE MUSHROOM!” a couple dozen times.
Why didn't they read out the entire lineup for Sunday night?
This is my favorite episode.
10 out for 10, especially in seeing yet another classic episode of this truly classic ITV kiddy programme uploaded to a new generation of viewers too.
Who owns the right to TVS's archive? I know it's not ITV Studios or Fremantle (who took over the Thames Television archive), but I've never known who has their hands on TVS's output now. Anyone know?
It's amazing that I haven't seen or thought about this in decades but now I see it, it all feels so familiar. Thank you for unlocking memories.
those Master Keys are smaller than the Bruce Forsyth version are bigger
I love this! Looking back now It seems like this was a happier time than now
Did they leave the transmitters on until the switch to TV-am, or did they turn them off for those 90 minutes or so?
Amazing what they did with only 1gb......
I love the doggie. 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder what that new Australian series, Neighbours will be like...I bet it won't last long 😉
Thanks for uploading this :) I remember it from when I was 4, and liking it at the time, I don't remember much about it though, though a few scenes do stick out, and obviously, I remembered it being like Mary Poppins without the songs, and with Catriona being sweeter than MP

At the time I was too young to realise who Stanley Baxter was, great show and yes still say Mr Majeka whenever someones hair is sticking up! but has to be around people of my vintage (late 40s) to understand what I mean.
What was that music
Miranda's mum in the series miranda and miranda's old school teacher together young! aww

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely adorable. Looking forward to more of this!
I don't mind if it is being uploaded as I watched this as a kid, but is it a VHS to digital transfer or ripped from a Dvd, cos I gotta ask, what's the deal with the sound?
On that Super Cup Football advert the boy on left looks like he wore the 1985 to 1986 Umbro Arsenal shirt.
I’m guessing the Cartoon was Porky’s Phoney Express.
Wow those Story Teller brings back memories of listening at primary school
Was this Simon Perry's last appearance? He doesn't seem to feature in following installments. Going by snippets of information in comments. The original producers left in protest at proposed changes around the series 2 episode 15 mark. Those changes presumably included a few of the character regulars being phased out .. Kind of a rubbish hasty exit. Pity they didn't give the popular characters a proper send off,
Oh my, The changes made by the new producers after the Christmas break are very noticeable. Simon's gone, the madcap collection of characters and general spontaneity, occasional double entender and magic which made it fun and unique are gone. No wonder the original producers left rather than attach their name to the above changed programme. It backfired in the end anyway, They apparently changed it to placate overly zealous itc finger waggers and to sanitize it to a degree any fear of spooking Warner Bros and losing access to their library of cartoons etc was rendered unlikely. Ratings nose dived. Audiences abandoned it in droves. The show was ultimately cancelled. Hats off to the original producers for having integrity and waking away. Thank you for uploading these though. What a trip down memory lane! x.
I don't like this guy
I have absolutely no recollection of the third series (which seems odd as I recall elements of the first two series fairly clearly and fondly). After watching the above - It doesn't surprise me! What did they do to the previously successful established format? They seem to have ditched popular characters (Simon, Gaston, Sam Sam , the earth worm etc). Changed the set to a fairly generic and bubble gummy "live and kicking" knock off style one" . The wolves look and sound off and different. What did they do to Baljit with that terrible Kenny Everett "best passable taste" Voice actor make over? No wonder people stopped watching and the plug was ultimately pulled. What a pale imitation of a previously quirky fun and unique show.
