Catching yabbies with tartare sauce

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Catching yabbies with tartare sauce. You probably thought you read the title wrong, but believe me... you didn't!
Whether you're fishing, yabbying, crayfishing etc... it doesn't matter, whenever you make an unexpected discovery like this it is always awesome!
I have caught yabbies on lots of different baits over the years, but not tartare sauce. Usually I leave the tartare sauce until after I have cooked the yabbies. LOL
The tartare sauce is for the cooking part, not the catching part. haha
Next time you go to the fish and chip shop, make sure you grab a couple of extra tartare sauce sachets because you never know when you might need them for your yabby or shrimp nets!

    Fishing improvisation at its very best! Speaking of fish and chips, a bloke walks into a fish and chip shop and asks for some fish. "OK," says the guy behind the counter, "it won't be long". "Well, it had better be fat then" ......

    If I hadn't of seen it I'd never believe it. Well done. I went to BCF yesterday and all the BCEffing experts were up in Darwin for a Barra comp and the store was staffed with young ladies only. Du to some confusion of the model, I got a 2019 Stradic C3000 HG FL for the price of a FK. A saving of $150. I am in love with it. Havn't used it yet. I went to the library and asked if they had any books on turtles? "Hardback?" she asked. I said even a soft cover would do. cheers.

    Long ...do some research first mate if it's your first reptile ..lizards require a lot in captivity.. Temperature , UV lighting , the correct husbandry of decor and a particular diet.. then there is deficiencies like calcium, vitamin A .. plus house hold parasites like mites and learning to treat them.. there is a lot involved.. find out how to cater for them first so you and your lizard are covered happily.. 🇦🇺

    Hey rob just a suggestion, try using gambusia as Redfin bait I’ve caught them on gambusia before, and as long as the dam is technically apart of the same waterway or tributary even if it only connects during a flood, technically you are not transporting live gambusia to a separate waterway Plus gambusia are every and easy to catch

  • @robbiefishing

    @robbiefishing

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey mate thanks for the tip. I catch heaps of gambusia in my yabby nets. To be honest whether it is legal or not I am not sure that I would feel comfortable using them as bait unless I was in the exact same waterway. I can see that the redfin would climb all over them!

    robbiefishing fair enough mate, they are nearly as bad as carp for the water wats as they actually prey on the native fry, I feel that they should actually be reconsidered by the fisheries and listed a noxious
