🌿🌹🌿 Good evening Tipper and Mrs. Wilson! I enjoyed seeing you both together again. You all are such hard workers..My kitchen leaf lettuce gave me a few salads. I had canned pinto beans and chili. Have to buy produce from a stand when they open here in northern Maryland. Food and gas is so high now. I just moved and have an electric stove that I have not gotten use to yet. I have used a gas stove all my life! Blessings to you and yours!

@@bettydavis9519 The home we bought in the Laurel Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains in South Central Pennsylvania, Somerset Pa., had an electric stove that came with it. I have the same problem, I always have had a gas stove. Still getting used to it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh my, she reminds me of my granny so much. That white hair, it's beautiful. Having 13 children she ended up with over 50 grandchildren but she made a point to make each of us a quilt. It's a treasure.

"....she was so nice! I said, Paul, you should thank her!" 😘😘That is precious! I wish I could just give Granny a hug!! My mama and all my 'Grannies' are long gone. I miss their love, cooking, and humorous comments. ❤❤
What a blessing your mom is. I feel just as blessed. My mom turned 93 in May. She canned snap beans, tomatoes and made jelly. I learned from her and do the same. My dad's mom taught me how to crochet. Every baby that comes into the family, gets a crocheted blanket from me. I have roots, on both sides, in Appalachia! Watching your channel makes me feel at home. Thank you!
You are so lucky 🍀 to still have your mom. Sending hugs to you both. Thanks to your beautiful content and videos.

I love it when Tipper says ‘bounty from the garden’…as a young girl I learned a prayer that ended with “through the bounty of Christ our Lord, Amen”. What a blessing you and granny and your family are!❤️
Tipper, please tell your mom how enjoyable it was to "catch up" with her. The story Granny told about the GPS was priceless. The best quote "Computers won't eat eggs". Thank you again. We are Blessed to have your family share with us.

Granny really had all her memories together, didn't she? What a treasure she was!
I love listening to all the wisdom of gardening, canning and crocheting between Granny and You. I absolutely love the beautiful baby blanket and bear! Granny you are so talented! You are indeed Blessed to live in the beautiful Mountains!❤
She reminds me of my Mom She is 92 years old I love just sitting and talking to her and reminisce about the olden days. Enjoy her. Your mom is very talented beautiful work.
Hello to Mother and Daughter. How blessed to have this precious woman in your life. Things made today do not last. Made that way on purpose so you will buy another. Hang on to your old appliances. God bless you all Love Appalachian folks and mountains. Greeting from Texas.💕🇺🇸
I could listen to this beautiful woman talk about anything for hours...what a treasure of knowledge she has...God bless 💖
I could listen to Granny all day. I like that baby blanket and little bear. Just adorable! You're right, nothing tastes like Mama's cooking.😊
So nice to hear your Mother talk about her love of gardening, canning and crocheting...She is a true blessing to your lives!!! Always love to hear you and family have everyday conversations.😊
How sweet granny is! Makes me miss my sweet granny. What a treasure.
Granny is a real treasure! I go by every Monday after the gym and visit with her. We chat as she crochets. She is a little older them me but only a few years. Granny is a real gem!
Ohmygoodness! She is the cutest Lil button of a thing! So polite to thank a computer. Such a blessing in this world.❤
Tipper, I just loved the way you spoke so easy with Granny. You took your time and gave Granny her sweet time to respond and join in. Home is where the heart is 🌾
Yes, y'all are truly blessed and so am I and many others because of your kindness in sharing this visit.
I can't imagine what I would give to have some time to sit with my granny again. Most of us just don't know what we are missing when we don't take advantage of the time we have. And that quilt/animal are FANTASTIC!!!!
Love visiting with Granny. In Appalachia we have such love and respect for our elders. They are a gold mine of history from how to do things to stories of our family that has gone on. My momma taught us to call older people Aunt or Uncle even if we were no related. It was a form of respect.
Within the first 10 seconds, I was transported to so many cherished conversations with my grandmother. Miss her every day. Thank you for sharing!
Your mom is so sweet💕. Young people need to treasure their elders and soak up all that knowledge they have!
Mom's cooking is always so good! Everything I try to make doesn't taste as good as Mom's. Ms. Granny is so precious! Her blankets with animals are adorable.
Oh my word. She is so precious. I have no parents or grandparents left and miss them so much. You are truly blessed. As far as appliances, nothing lasts like they did years ago. They want you to have to replace them sooner so they make more money.
I felt like I was visiting with my Momma. One thing I noticed were the hands. A life time of work, and Granny was just like my Momma and Grandma was sitting there. You truly ARE blessed to still have her.
Oh my goodness granny is a precious woman. What a wonderful treasure she is, hugs from Ohio.
Oh how I wish our elders were still here. Thank you for sharing
Just got home from my parents.. we had my dad’s garden vegetables, mom’s cornbread. Good stuff😊 makes me smile seeing you and granny share. We are blessed to have our precious moms.

My friend, if you dont mind a little advice, ask her about her childhood, even if shes told you before listen again, write down all the stories she tells you about her life, her parents and grandparents. Soak up every second of it. Keep a book or recording for yourself and your family.. One day they will be some.of your greatest treasures. Be blessed my friend
What a precious morning visit. Granny should make some of those sweet baby blankets with bears and let Corie sell them on Etsy. They would be gone before she could post them. One of a kind. Please do this again. We love the morning talks. God bless Granny! She is a joy!
What a wonderful lady this is! So sweet and kind! This dear lady reminds me of my own beloved Mama, who has been with God for nearly 23 years now. Oh, how I love and miss her! I'm looking forward to seeing her again some day. Treasure every moment you have with your older relatives! Some say they will be gone and you will only have their memories to hold.
People who lived through the depression love putting up food I could listen to you 2 for a long time
Granny is a gem!!! Not many like her anymore. Your family is so blessed to have her still with you. We've been stringing breaking beans for last 2 weekends. Great memories
Granny is the best!! Can I claim her as my granny too? Bless her heart!!! Love you Granny!!

Thank you for sharing your sweet momma with us! She is the same age as my dear daddy. Their generation can teach us so much, and I wish more would realize what a treasure they are while we still have them here with us. When we just slow down and sit down and talk with them a while, it makes their whole day so much better, and always gives us something special to walk away with.
What a gem! I could listen to granny all day. God bless her

I am sure you already do this, but cherish this time with Granny. She is an absolute treasure. I so wish I could go back and talk with the elders that I grew up around. So much knowledge and wisdom that they had, but children just dont think like that. It's my favorite garden time right now. I love fried green tomatoes. I enjoyed the video, and thank you for sharing Granny with us.
What a charming, genteel lady! Thank you for sharing your mother with those of us whose moms and grannies are no longer with us.
How wonderful to "meet" Granny! She looks an awful lot like my Na-na! Sounds like her, too. I lost my Momma back in the early '70's. How I wish she was still around! She's at rest now. She struggled with poor health for years and years...yes, God gave her the rest she needed.
She reminds me of my grandmother. That same sweet, gentle southern voice.
That bear and blanket is so adorable. Those babies will treasure those. Beautiful job granny.
You lovely ladies talking about beans makes My mouth water..😏
Reminds me so much of listening to my Mom, Dad, Grandma, Aunt's and Uncle's visiting with each other at Grandma's house. Us kids were to be seen and not heard. We were to listen and learn. My Lord Miss Tipper! I haven't heard anyone say jar flies since my Mom left this Earth. 🥺 I miss those days so very, very much. I miss them so damned much. We have entirely too much technology. The art of conversation is being lost. Thank you for sharing. ~ APRIL LIPKE

Me, too. Finally had my precious grandson for an overnight Saturday into Sunday and talked a bit of how it used to be. My daughter's family of 4 is always so very busy, with barely time to enjoy one another. I don't think my little guy understood anything I said. Life with technology is moving so fast, its a crying shame. Sometimes it's like the good things progress had brought is trying to be negated by the cold and bad things pushed at us.
The both of you remind me of my Mama me. My Mama Lord willing will be 86 in November. Precious porch talk. I have enjoyed porch talk all my life.... Peanut beans are wonderful. Our family love them! Blessings be on your Mama, family, and you!❤️
I can't tell you enough how much I loved this video! Granny is just precious! I couldn't help but giggle every time granny said, "Booger Hollar"
Oh what special memories you are making with Granny. Just love it. Granny is a special lady.
Computers can't cook like granny can!! I cook just the way mine did, but it's not the same cause granny always cooked with love ❤ My grandma would cook like 20 people were coming to eat. Walk in the kitchen to a pan of biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cubed venison steaks, sawmill gravy, fresh sliced tomatoes. "Who's coming to eat with us?" "Oh, it's just you and me son" Wonderful memories.
I could listen to your mom talk all day. She is such a joy.
Love your episodes when you talk to older people about their stories of growing up in Appalachia would be great to interview more people and hear their experiences thanks
I just LOVED the Siri story and I will cherish that story for life. I know it will keep making me smile. Thank you, Granny 💕💕
I happen to be making a cucumber and tomato salad for supper tonight, but with vegetables from the supermarket as opposed to a garden. How thoughtful of Granny to be working on crocheting blankets and bears for her future great-grandchildren!
Every cook, taught by either a parent or grand-parent or even a close loved one, imparts not only their own unique “ love “ but also the “ love “ imparted to them by their “ teacher “. The meals become a heavenly combination of kinship, learning and a deep love of family; making each and every meal slightly different because of the generations of love behind their creations. Tres Magnifique!!! 🥰

What a sweetheart Granny is and she seems like such a kind soul. We are enjoying some down time and cooler temps in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. June is our busy time with wheat harvest and other things so we always look forward to spending time in the mountains in July. Big fan of granny!❤️ just love her! She looks and talks just like my mamaw. Watching her swells my heart❤️ I miss my mamaw so much. But granny is the next best thing to me. Send her my love🥰
My granny was actually my great grandmother and I loved spending time with her and my grandmother. She crocheted quite a bit and was always making afghans and stuffed animals. I have two baby afghans she gave me when I was 18 so I'd have them when I had a baby. Granny passed away in 1992 and my daughter wasn't born until 2015 so I had those afghans several years before they were used.
Granny is a total sweetheart! I just love hearing y’all talk. I so miss my Grandma. I remember helping her to snap beans, shuck corn, peeling peaches and picking blackberries and strawberries for canning and freezing. We’d sit and talk about anything and everything. Those were the best days even though I didn’t realize it then.
I enjoyed watching your time with Granny. I love her baby afghan and little bear. Those gifts will be heirlooms. I crochet and know what dedication it takes to make such lovely gifts. Granny is a very special lady.
Her crocheting is phenomenal. She is so sweet. Tipper you come from good people.
So nice and lovely 🌹 love you and old grandma live you and grandma long time with happiness goodnesses wealth and better health good luck
What a blessing to sit and listen to ya'll talk to us about life. Your mama sounds so much like mine...I miss her so much. I love the idea of crocheting things for the future...we just never know when it is our time to go. I have a crocheted blanket my grandma made me over 40 years ago. I just treasure it! Ya'll have a blessed week!
New appliances are not made to last even 10 years, unless you get real lucky! Love visiting with you & Granny ❤

So precious. Your momma is so sweet. Your so blessed. So is she to have a daughter like you. 💕
Back in the early 1960's my paternal grandma, who we called Nanny, made seven quilts out of fabric scraps she saved. One fit our parents' large bed, and the others were for all the kids. They were so pretty and cozy, and I wish I had kept one of them. And Nanny always put up preserves. She made wonderful apple chutney, hot pepper relish and piccalilli! She had a "Welbilt" gas stove and oven like my mom did. Your Mom reminded me so much of Nanny!
Thanks for sharing your visit with Granny. Not only are you blessed to live in the mountains, you are blessed to have each other. You already know that though!

Granny is such a sweetheart. I can't believe she is still canning. What a treasure. She is certainly alert and remembers things well. I sure would like a blackberry cobbler. That is my favorite. I try not to make them very often because I have diabetes.
