One just wonder how this brightly colored fish is making it on bright sand in the lake. Individuals in Karilani island move around as if they could care less. Very clever fish. It took many failed attempts catching the fish before it got tired of me and just swam far away from me. There are huge heap of rocks piled up. Several feet high . All the fry hatched in those caves within the heao are slowly moving up as they grow. Largest at the top and outside of the heap. That is how babies are making it. Interestingly ever time I saw Leleupi I also see tretocephalus near by. Of course Splendens dominated those heaps. All this are was within ten to fifteen feet. One could stay under water for ever. I had our team just hand me full tanks without going back on the boat. Complete obsession. I should stop watching these videos. It triggers me too much..
