Saulosi was fished out of lake. Eventually hobbyists got together are released tank raised back into the lake. There is video of them doing it I think it took two attempts. The name came from diver of that name. According to ad Konig he was genius in the field. Passed away years ago.

Funny how some species are more difficult to catch then others. I hate catching Red Empress, they seem so skeptical. Also hated catching Red Blue Columbian Tetras.

Would my mbuna be healthy and happy in my Tap water with a P.H of 7.4 or should I buffer with Sodium bicarbonate.??

I’ve heard others say Saulosi are harder to find. I used to breed them, the L Hongi, and a few I miss like Pseudotropheus perspicax Ndumbi Red top and Pseudotropheus Polit. Please tell my wife the kids are moved out I need more tanks!

Yes, I was wondering if they could get Profundicola. My LFS orders from them so I was hoping there was a chance.

Males have two holes the same size on a female the back hole is slightly bigger. More noticeable on a female thats laid eggs
