Catching Salmon / Kawahi and then making Panko crumbed fish burgers with the lot after on the beach is a family favourite . Such a versatile fish when fresh and looked after , big ones we leave half the thickness of the fillet on both sides , marinated in sweet chilli and roast over the coals.

Try throwing the tortilla over the pan with the fish in it for about 20 seconds. Then when you fold it, it won’t break at the creases at the bottom and it should stop the drip and make a more supple tortilla. Worth a shot. Great vids bro. Super jealous. I fish a lot and don’t catch anywhere near the amount you do. I have a couple bass vids on my channel for fun.

Mate absolutely! People think it's only good for smoking and they are so wrong. You just need to bleed them straight away and then eat them pretty quick (i.e. same day). I plugged one with my speargun a while back and baked it whole on the bbq, stuffed with dill and lemon. It was bloody beautiful.

ill take a kahawai over a snapper every time, when i go out on the boat with my mates, i let them take all the snaps and leave me the kahawai. say we had 12 snapper, and 1 kahawai ill still just prefer that 1 kahawai
