Tip: Do the Hinge first. Then do either side of the palm.

Hey what's up brother you really should do relace on Wilson a 2000 catchers mitt. I have a A 2000 catcher's mitt and it's not the same layout as a Rawlings or mizuno style for some reason Wilson's do there is a little bit different it'll be great if you can do a video on Wilson's glove

I always do the hinge first, then the part beneath the web, then to the side of the palm.

For this one, yes, due to how it is laced starting inside. You would not be able to get to it easily, if at all if you started somewhere else

Hey, at 0:25 where it shows the thumb lace. How do I do that exact lace for the pinky and thumb? My friend messed it up by untying it.

Those are square knots. Look up my video on how to relace a pinky and thumb towards the end at 5:35. Those are tied the same way as that.

I try to lace with as few knots as possible. Might not be the way... but less knots, less to unravel. 👍🏼

Is this glove laced pretty much the same as other mitts? I ask because I have a Wilson A2403 mitt and I was wondering if it was pretty much the same.

I would say everything except the web is pretty much the same, if not identical to the 2403.

I believe it was 4 3/16” and 2-3 1/4”

I buy my lace in bulk from both Tennessee Tanning Co. and Tanners. For individual lace, check out buyfastpitchgloves.com. Excellent customer service if you have any questions!

Do you skive you palm lace?

I do not. I typically use the thinner end of the lace for palms and then use a mallet on the arches. I have used the skived lace from buyfastpitchgloves.com in the past on occasion.
