Catch and Cook Rainbow Trout - with Wild Leeks

I go out fishing for trout in a Pennsylvania mountain stream. After I catch a few Rainbow trout, I harvest some wild leeks on a hillside to cook them with along with some wild broccoli (aka wintercress or yellow rocket). I cook them all together over a campfire.

Glad u left some of the wild leeks so the plant would continue to live. That's responsible foraging.

These videos are honestly so awesome to watch, they deserve so much more love. There’s nothing flashy, just a guy in the outdoors, quietly enjoying his time out there, not doing anything too fancy, just real and grounded content, which exactly captures what it’s like to be out in the wilderness camping and exploring Love these vids man, keep it up, thanks for your content

Those are such beautiful fish. Thanks for sharing. I wish you could name things, describe what/why you do stuff etc for people like me who never got to go camping or fishing. 🙏 I'm trying to learn though. I bought me some fishing stuff. Anyway...i like your videos. 🥰 hi from Louisiana. 🎣🔪🔥🏕🙋‍♀️

That’ll be $70, in a restaurant for flown in, wild caught, rainbow trout on ice. NOT frozen. Or you could just catch them yourself and cook them 😄 “it’s easy… once you know how…”😂 ...but you gotta know HOW.... !! Spent $30 member ship fee on a float fishing club that Mick Thill was a part of in 1996. Also commonly known as slip bobber fishing. Best $30 I ever spent. by far.
