Hopefully I will get a chance to come and visit my family in Illinois this year, and I will definitely look for some trout fishing action, maybe I will even bring my fly rod, great videos mate, make some more away videos like the one in Florida.

This spring I volunteered to help the PA Fish & Boat Commission stock some local mountain streams with Rainbow and Palomino Trout. The Palominos were all about 20”. The schedule is found online. I hadn’t done that for 50+ years. Did you ever consider doing a video on trout stocking?

I love fish tacos however, it’s usually boneless perch fillets! Did you take every single bone out of that trout? Or did you eat the bone too , just curious I’ve heard tell of people eating trout bones

What lure are you using to be able to release them safely? When I trout fish they always swallow the hook and I don’t like killing them if I don’t have to

What is your favorite rod and reel combo

In Ontario we call them suckers

It's a little hard the exact species but I'm pretty sure the cyprinid you caught was some kind of Redhorse. They're in the same family as carp but carp tend to have a more deep, stocky body.

Hold up 🤔 you fried your fish but are concerned about the rest of the ingredients 🙄 For those who are incapable of recognizing it. The fish batter you buy is the same ingredients on the shelf. It's packaged for people who are too mentally lazy to mix up their own batters White cornmeal (fine ground) All-purpose flour Salt Lemon pepper Paprika Cayenne pepper Then, play with the ingredients. If you can't find fine ground research, how to make your own. Stop paying for pkg off the shelf ingredients at a premium $$ cost for pre-made

That is absolutely not the way to prepare a rainbow trout for cooking I hope dude enjoys all the bones that are going to be stuck in his tonsils
