Solo Camping & Fishing with my Dog in Untouched River Paradise
This trip I head away up a pristine river gorge with my dog Sven. Meandering our way up the river felt like something out of a fairy tale and this was by far my favourite hike of 2024 so far!
Fishing along the way, we got into a couple of healthy Bass as we explored the upper reaches of this remarkable system. Hang around and join us as we setup camp in the open, enjoying some beautiful Autumn weather, it doesn't get much better than this.

Thanks! Yes, great to take Sven out. I need to research harder to find more spots like this outside of national parks so he can come more often 😃

Yes that's the challenge with dogs. There's some good state forests around & a section of the six foot track along the Cox river is accessible too.
