Fun fact. The reason your cat meows at you when their bowl isnt full is because they can easily get whisker fatigue. Their whiskers are VERY sensitive. If they have to shove their face down into their bowl to eat, it can overstimulate their whiskers. Thats why you should have a very shallow bowl for them to eat from. Or even better. A plate...

Thank you so much for the tips! I've had the cat wheel set up in my spare bedroom for a month, and I haven't been able to get my cat to go near it. I honestly was ready to put it on Craigslist, when I found your video. I moved it to the living room, and she's started walking on it!

I love the word zoomies. I wish I could afford a cat wheel for my cat because she loves to run.

Just got mine assembled. I'm gonna give it a day for my lil' guy to get used to it. He's not usually very food motivated, except for milk. I might try letting him lick a spoon or something dipped in sour cream. I might try one or two spots, but first I'm gonna do right under the TV. When I do home workouts in that space he always gets the zoomies. Thanks for the helpful tips.

@@thefarmguy656 Making good progress. He was so afraid of the wheel at first my partner was already looking for where to resell it! Tried about a dozen treats, none seemed effective. But a few toys he never preferred seemed to do the trick 🤷. Haven't run more than 4 or 5 steps and he hasn't run independently yet, but I did spy him getting in the wheel while I made breakfast

We have this one cat named Joey who is the size of a tiny lion who would destroy this cat wheel easily in an afternoon, so no. No chance we are installing one in this house.
