how often do your cats actually get on it on their own and about how long do they use it for?

I did a lot of research on cat wheels, and while there are some DYI ones out there, there are not so obvious issues to take itno account. The weight of the materials can be an issue for smaller cats. For larger cats the diameter of the wheel is important for how it effects your cat's development and bone health. Wheels that are too small lead to hip issues in many cats. I suggest lots of research.

I don't understand how on earth did you get your cat to use it, I have 3 cats they hate it ... and treats do not work because they don't walk towards it they try to get it by stretching the paw rather than make a step

How do I get my cat to use this wheel i tried food using string to bate him in .then he stops just sits there looks at me .any suggestions I spend 200.00 on one those one fast cat .

We started actually putting our cats food bowl on the wheel and getting them to stand on wheel to eat. Then every day we play but only playing on or around the wheel. We wanted our cat to use it more so he didn't eat all day then we encourage him with treats and he learned quick because he was hungry lol I'd never let my cat starve but it helped to have him more food motivated. It took about a month of daily play before he really understood what the wheel was all about. Good luck!
