Can you coat ice or dry ice with neverwet and if it works, let the ice melt to see if the never wet will be strong enough to hold in the water and for the dry ice see if it makes a bubble of gas.

Except latex is not a simulation of skin and wouldn't react the same as skin. If they wanted to get an accurate reaction, they'd have to use a part from an animal. More specifically, a pig since they're anatomically similar to humans, including their flesh.

LilRowdy it probably doesnt. Im no expert on gallium but i know mercury fumes can be generated even if its just sitting in liquid form. Boiling point does not have to be reached for vapors to be released

Try spraying fly ash or coal ash before pouring the molten metal. That gives a layer of temp withstanding material and smoothens the edges which touches the sand.

You should try Doing stuff with non Newtonian fluid (aka ooblek). It defies the laws of physics. I made it before. It was fun until it molded. Try doing things like putting it in a vacuum chamber or trying to cast metal things into it or combining it with metals to see the creations.
Melt like 3 gallons of Galiam metal, into a 5 gallon bucket then put your feet in it. Then let the Galiam dry and harden around your feet just for fun, Try to see if you could move your feet at all in the hardened Galiam. Then melt the Galiam again too free your feet

Hey, so not sure if anyone else caught onto this, but looking at the spots were the sand was embedded into the metal for the third one, that was the area in which you were pouring the metal. So What I think happened was that the liquid metal was making gentle pushes as it was landing inside the mold and that is why sand is in the metal when it cooled down.
How do different glues react to kinetic sand , sand , molten metal, and normal metal?

I noticed, often, that when you cast with aluminum you get a rounding off on the top. My question would be is it possible to relieve the surface tension on top to flatten that out when casting?

Can you melt brass or plastic, then mix it with a molten magnet, and see what it does.
I wonder that sand can you make it as hard as like cement or so giving it more durability, more hard state vs it's sandy stick together/pull apart ways but a strong hard to break brink or so.

please try melting iron and puitting a magnet next to it . if thats too dangerous, you could try melting iron powder

Try sandblasting the casted pieces after the casting is done.. it’ll get rid of the stuck on sand nicely

Can you make kinetic sand and if so a lot and make a life size sand castle with it
You can do something similar to that with styrofoam, but instead of making the shape in a hole, you shape the styrofoam to the shape of the metal you want.

You should try mixing a metal with a low melting point with a metal with a high melting point and try casting some thing and see how long it takes for it to solidify
Two ideas 1. Do the same thing but instead of metal use gallium. 2. Do the same thing but instead of kinetic sand use putty/slime.

Are you able to harden Aluminum like you're able to harden steel once you get it to critical temperature and then quench it in oil? I am 14, but I love studying metallurgy and Im reasonably curious because I don't have the tools to experiment myself.

you should make a video about using slime in the foundry what would happen?
Can you build an igloo with kinetic sand and not have it collapse? I'm sure if the density holds together in bricks you could make a multi-coloured igloo. (even if you have to do it in miniature)
Could you use the thing you did with baking soda and super glue to cast something? Or make a mold that could withstand the heat of molten metal(or chocolate)?
You should use a Barbie and put it in kinetic sand and then use some type of metal and put it in there
