@Juan Taco The banks will rob you in one case only : if you go to them and take a loan. So it's up to you man. As for the security gards, they are innocent people and can not be considered as a part of the system.

@Juan Taco Oh yeah. I see. That doesn't hurt. Personally I refuse to take any interests over my savings (for religious reasons). The only reason I keep my money in the banks is because it's mandatory in my country (France). I cannot carry any cash over a certain amount.

That's why I'm saying multiply the securities and give them ARs, I bet u these kind of robberies will be regarded as a suicide mission amongst the criminals and it will die down.(adapt to your surroundings)

@tode vole These vehicles cost a lot of money. Money transportation is a whole separate industry. Having a armored truck coming to your business to pick up cash is not free.. It isn't a government service. It is a private company that provides the service

The driver is required to stay in his seat at all costs, even if his buddy is held at gunpoint. And if they had another guy- it would cost more for them and it would have to be bigger amount of money

Morais Morais I've been working this job for 3years I can tell you by experience you won't be 100% vigilant and it is a fact biologically and tsotsies knows that too and other companies who are not stinch there is always back up vehicle nearby and this officer is working alone he don't have 3rd man human brain can't be tense for that long period especially doing this high gambling dangerous job that you will be paid cheap labour.

How would a cop be putting money without blocking and restricting movement in the area? Some of these heists have insiders giving out information.

Other guy should be handling the consignment and that leaves the guard better aware

Because in South Africa you are either rich or poor, there is no middle class, huge history of segregation and racism. And because of all of that the unemployment is extreme so many many many men and teenagers are doing drugs and are born into a life of crime.
