In this video I'll show you how to carve a wooden scoop. I'm using a 1 inch X 1 inch basswood block, 6.5 inches long. I also got to use a new tool by Flexcut called a Scorp. I used the Scorp to carve the bowl for the scoop. You can go crazy with creativity on how you paint these. I plan to give one of these to my mom for Mother's Day. And my wife has already called dibs on the blue one. This is a great project for beginner carvers. You can literally churn out several of these in just a few hours.
