In this video, I'll show you how to carve an acorn wood spirit. I only had to go to my backyard to find inspiration for this carving. The white oak trees in my yard are dropping acorns like crazy. This is a simple and fun project for beginner carvers. I used a 1 X 1 basswood block that I cut in half with my bandsaw. I glued a 1/2 neodymium magnet to the back to create a refrigerator magnet.
