Doh! About 15 years ago us kids were hanging out at the beach alone when a guy pulled up to us in a beat up truck and asked if we wanted some chickens. We were a little scared at first but then we were thrilled. They stood up on their own and had real feather tails. I still have it to this day. It was such a cool act of kindness from a complete stranger. It looked impossible to make, and I've never seen another one until I happened on this video.

I have the twig whittling book, but this video made it much easier to understand the cuts. I live rather far from sources for wood but there is no shortage of branches and twigs. It's fun to be able to pick up a twig and immediately make something. Thank you so much from Eden, TX!

i watched this video a few days ago and the next day, i found myself sitting bored and with my swiss army camper model. i looked around and found a nice little "y" stick. it was my first attempt at carving anything and it wasn't too terrible. thanks for the inspiration and intro to a new hobby.

Jonathan Stallbaum I make up for the miserable so and so's by having two KZread accounts and that way if I really enjoy something like this,I can give it two likes. In all of my years I don't remember ever giving a KZreadr a dislike. If I don't enjoy something I just move on without leaving a like. Life is too short to give dislikes.
