Carts are literally just dabs (concentrate) in its worst form (usually distillate with added terps) with the price jacked up for convenience. A gram cart can cost anywhere from $25-$75 depending on location and quality, whereas you can get good quality gram of concentrate for a bit more than half the price. You blow through them quicker and get more faded because a dab is usually bigger than the amount of oil you smoke in a cart hit. Carts are great for on-the-go but that's literally it

I got a 1:1 distillate cart no additives (because fuck additives) for ~$20 US at my dispo in Canada, and I liked that well enough. Same dispo I got a live resin cart for less than 30. I like both for different reasons, can't do anything except 1:1 for distillate but with that ratio the high is nice and mellow.

Carts are just convenient AF, even when you got a dab rig right in front of you carts are nice to save time. I use a strange midground, I modified an herb vape to take concentrate and it been hittin fr. also on the functional dabbers thing, one of my friends will straight up hit a dab before going to work at a school doing/teaching engineering lmao.

As someone in the cannabis industry - I don't blame you! But i encourage you at some point, if you have access, try a high quality live resin vape. They're full spectrum just like flower and most dabs, so the feeling and the hit will be *almost* identical. Be mindful of which solvents your concentrates are made with, because cheap butane extractions can be found in dabs and in vapes, and they definitely don't hit the same!

@@RaayDrippin I typically don’t recommend live resin as it’s made through a solvent-based extraction method, and most cheap methods involve butane, and the contaminant levels are usually high as hell. Live rosin is made through a solvent-less extraction so it stays safe and pure, plus the effect is better!

I used to go through a 1g cart in 2-3 days but I learned to hit at lower temps, do 4-5 second pulls (it’s better to take a few consecutive hits than to rip a blinker and inhale metals and burn extra oil in the process) now even with a higher tolerance I make carts last for 5-6 days now and I can keep the flavor until it’s empty.

I perfer carts since I can bring it around with me to most places. However, dabs are special when you hit the dab that's like coming home on a Friday and not having anything to do until Saturday. You can just pop off. Dabs are an interesting machine/concept, I'm just afraid of breaking it by knocking it down on accident as I do with most things. My friend though has a proper spot for his. In my living conditions I could never lol. PS: you can use the pen holder things in your bag to hold either the cartridge or your battery (I have like the pen looking thing and it fits like a charm on my bag).

Love the video! If carts can get you right, then I’m jealous. If you have old-head tolerance then concentrates are what you need, seriously. If you go through a lot of flower, carts are going to make you feel unsatisfied. You’ll have to hit the cart like a chimney! hehe You might not get as much time with the concentrate while dabbing, but you’ll be high, like smoking amazing flower high.

Idk man at least in my state it’s cheaper to get dabs long term, pen ($20) + cart ($55-$60 minimum for full gram), and you can get a solid rig for $80-$100, and a gram of solid dabs for $35-$45. If you use daily for a long period the extra $20 or so you spend on the cart to reup starts to stack up

I rotate through all three regularly. But I also would pick my pen just for the ease.

I know that it’s just a ghetto once in a while type thing, but having a glowing orange piece of metal in your dabs ruins them, and doesn’t get you nearly as high. If you have a marble or something like that, heat it up till its just starting to glow on the outside, and wait about 30 secs and drop it in. That’ll give you a much smoother and better hit, and you’ll get way higher.
