i think the ibishu 200 bx needs a rework aswell. So much potential is left out there too. Maybe the it could have the s13 like coupe body, and the front end with the non-popup headlights just like the real s13, it could have right-hand drive variant aswell, and for the love of god, more engine options.

The 200bx needs a remaster true but I really won't be happy when it is remastered do to the amount of mods I have for it, I have well over 30 mods just for the 200bx and it's gonna suuck seeing those break when it's remastered

It will suck BUT with it getting remastered that opens the door for better quality mods made for it, kind of like what's going on with the remastered Covet, there are some banger mods coming out for the covet so I would presume that the same will happen with the 200bx, 89 Pessima, 90's pessima, Burnside and Marimar when they get remasters.

A good point to make with the Moonhawk and the Burnside is that the type of cars they are based on is from the era of American car production where any platform could as many as 10+ different models from different brands, where differences that are considered to be trim-levels today being different models. For as confusing as the 2-cars-1-platform that the Cherrier has can be, for expanding content for the Moonhawk and Burnside it's probably the best choice.

100% There is a bunch of potential for tonnes of configs all styled quite different yet similar enough that they won't require a completely brand new approach. The moonhawk could have so many configs from the various Chrysler brands and makes its not even funny.

@@sirjarko8762 All of the big 3 had a brand for every market. at the high end Chrysler had Imperial, Ford had Lincoln, GM had Caddy. I think that even though the cars in BeamNG may take more inspiration from one car mostly, the devs still make that model more of a general snapshot of the entire segment of car from that time. Kinda like how Cherrier takes design influences from Peugeot and Renault and mechanical influences from Audi. The cars in the game are their own thing, but obviously bare the same features of any car in that segment.

the burnside is a 53 or 54 chevrolet. these _only_ had a straight 6. they also had many different bodystyles. 4 door sedan, 2 door sedan, 2 door hardtop, 2 door wagon, 4 door wagon, and so on.

out of all the cars in the game the moon-hawk is the one in the most desperate need of a rework, then I'd also personally like to see a T-series remaster cuz semi trucks are sick and there isn't enough stuff for it, like what if they added a cabover variant, or more sleeper cabs, different hoods with different lights, a car hauler variant, just more stuff in general for the T-series.

Although the Grand Marshall technically did get a remaster already, it still lacks a facelift version. The D-Series, H-Series and Roamer all received matching facelifts, the Grand Marshall's is definitely missing.

something cool about the older american cars is they have two little symbols on the radios that mark which radio stations to tune to during an emergency (of the nuclear type) i forget what it was called but its still really cool to see

A stockcar burnside and moonhawk would be so nice.

Because the "old cars" are still so simple, they are also the most robust cars in the game. The Burnside, Miramar and Moonhawk can withstand long destructive situations much longer than the newer vehicles... Okay It is clear that an American boot can withstand more damage than a modern ETK 800, but I have to say that the new ETK 800 is much more sturdy and the track tool can withstand quite a bit of abuse and heavy hits. That surprised me personally a lot, because now it's actually fun to drive.

The Barstow, Burnside, Ibishu 60 cart (forgot name), need remastering. I hope they add a new muscle car that is similar to a 68 dodge charger, would be cool. But so far, they're doing a great job in remastering, the remastered cars are awesome.

The Miramar could do with alot of work , I thought they were more loosely related to S50 Prince Skylines, but the Corona take is definitely more accurate, as a fan of older Japanese cars I really would prefer the Miramar to look a little bit less awkward and more like a RT40 Corona , the Miramar stands as a "not as attractive as it could be" state

The Ibishu Claria is a pretty good mod that pretty much expands on the Miramar. It looks very authentic and has quite a few configurations that are all equally fun. It's no Miramar remaster but it still carries the same classic Japanese vibes.

@@tolkien777 yeah, lets not forget some cars need to have AWD conversions but thats ok if they dont want to give it. I just wanna drive a offroad burnside, i really want the burnised to be able to put a AWD conisdering its a good car even for offroad as a RWD.

One of the things I've really wanted for the moonhawk is simply 4 doors. And something unrelated a better halogen lightbar there's this one mod called aerodynamic lightbar and I think something like that would be a good replacement. it would be nice instead of a boxy one glued to some weird led thing.

I hope the Moonhawk gets a wagon variant just for fun. It's gotta be in the works though, haven't seen any roadmaps recently but honestly I'd be surprised if the Moonhawk isn't remastered somewhere in the next two years. Hopefully very soon though.

i love to see older cars like the miramar it's like history being persevered in one of the most realistic interpretations that a game allows for

A cool idea i have for the miramar is having a bosozoku config, mainly because bosozoku should get more attention in my opinion.

id love to see some British or Japanese cars, alongside more 50s-style vehicles like the Plymouth Fury or the Hudson Hornet. Maybe some even older ones too, like imagine how much fun a Developer made Model Ford T or a 30s Buick could be!

If they officially add 1957-1960 bluebuck like in the mod, i would be their slave forever!!

I honestly want a USDM Miramar with left hand drive. I would also like to see a Miramar wagon and a beater version of the Miramar, it’s racing configs could also see some work too. I could see maybe an off-road version as well. There could also be some facelifts and maybe even a 90s version and a modern version. Those are the things I want in the Miramar.

imo the etk series remaster is the most urgent but luckily they will now do it

The Jbeam issues are far greater on these cars than just stuff not fitting the shape. The Moonhawk tailcone/rear fascia is modelled as a separate panel that should fall off but it's simulated as an integral part of the real body, which makes the behavior of the rear section of the car very inaccurate. Even worse on the Miramar, the rear behaves like a normal car too, but it should be way different due to the fuel tank placement being literally the trunk floor on the car, that should completely change the deformation behavior and make the car prone to catching on fire on rear end impacts but it's not a thing at all. Additionally on the Miramar the crumple zone is simulated wrong, the doors don't collide with the fenders but instead have extremely strong hinges, the doors should realistically fall off on crashes when the fenders are removed but it's not a thing. Meanwhile on the Burnside, all of Jbeam is all over the place (my favorite example is how the taxi sign Jbeam is a barely edited version of the beacon light one and it doesn't work very well for this purpose), same about the textures and materials that didn't survive the PBR conversion well at all on this car (lights look terrible when turned on, lead sled variant has messed up shading on doors, bumpers have weird shading, etc). But that's nowhere near as bad as the Moonhawk textures at least, which were pretty bad (for today's standards) from the start and didn't need PBR to ruin them lol

The Moonhawk's rear fascia was actually detachable back in the day, but they changed it when they optimized all of the Jbeams some 6-7 years ago.

Also, the crumple zone issue isn't as bad on the Miramar, since the deformation behavior is pretty close to real cars from that era (premature passenger cell deformation from an overly strong front-end). It IS however an issue with all of the late 80's - 90's cars , since they all don't seem to have any front crumple zones whatsoever, which causes their A-pillars to start bucking even in very slow collisions.

Somehting about old car models make it more fun to crash. Newer updated models feels too nice to get destroyed

If there's one overall thing that really needs a remaster, it's the deformation behavior of all the 80's - 2000's unibody cars (with the exception of the Covet of course). They're all like 30-50% stronger than they should be, to the point that they tank collisions against modern cars and somehow don't take much damage in rollovers (which is an issue in BeamNG in general).

The Moonhawk got updated recently, not a complete remaster but it got new engines and PBR goodies

Would a rotatory engined miramar be out of place? I eon't know much about 60s mazdas or jdm cars, but if a car in beam had to have one the miramar would be the most fitting

Really as it stands right now, the only way to make the Marimar and Burnside interesting is by using mods, and a lot of the fun mods for them that added a lot to them are quickly becoming outdated and no longer work with the current version of BeamNG.

I just want a Barstow with a driveshaft that isn't made of glass. And an official 2 door Burnside (no disrespect to the modders making them, they're great too) EDIT: Okay I didn't realize how much the Moonhawk shows its' age. I have complete faith in the devs though, they've knocked it out of the park for years.

I'd say rather than a Gen 3 Toyota Corona, the Ibishu Miramar is closer to a Mitsubishi Colt 1500, the one without the square headlights of course, that being said the Miramar is supposedly from 1963 while the Colt 1500 is from at least 1965, however an earlier model Colt, the Colt 1000 started production in 1963 just like the Miramar, while a little further away from being a Miramar, the Colt 1000 is still pretty close.

the burnside is actually more based on a 50's Plimoth

moonhawk is still my FAVORITE car lol
