WBIMP was a really good vanilla vehicles overhaul mod but then it got broken and was replaced by KLJP mod

Yeah, I think if I remember correctly WBIMP was abandoned due to there, 1 being too many chefs in the kitchen, the quality of the cars were actually really bad, and Kelso and LJ along with everyone else went their own separate ways for a bit, I think it was like a year or two later the KLJP mod popped up to replace the previous WBIMP project with a heavier emphasis on JDM models. After the KJLP mod popped up we also got the Ibishu PLUM mod which used the Notchback variant of the 200bx provided by the KLJP mod but then later the PLUM mod became it's own mod which doesn't rely on the KLJP mod at all now and was renamed to the Ibishiu Selena.

also every ar162b mod. the bruckell moonhawk addon, the wagon gavril grand marshal, the covet 5 door, gavril d-series addon ( which still works ) 2 others, but for me one stands out. the h-series addon which sadly doesnt work is a part of my childhood. i sometimes downgrade my beamng to 0.14 so i can play with those mods.also the D55/65 and the barstow coupe, which were never finished sadly

That Cadillac mod needs a remaster or remake so bad. This game needs some more 50s cars. Also there used to be a ton of mafia 2 based mods

I still use the Hirochi to this day, it’s still good quality and I love the engine sounds. Another mod you forgot is the Gavril Vendetta and the Oldsmobile Delta 88, both work great with all textures but are old

For the Gavril Vendetta, get the add on that adds the Camaro engine to it, it is found in the engine option in the tuning menu and it sounds very nice

I remember using the Racing Pack mods a lot back in 2014-2015 (Evo IX Rally, Polo WRC, Series 62 Racecar, Zakspeed Capri, Impreza 22B, Pikes Peak map) There were many other real life car mods on the forum made pre-repository that seem to be long forgotten now.

as i remember correctly which i do (internet archive) the pre repo mods were mostly removed but only licenced ones like that one car from max payne and the most of atomix mods were removed as well

I'm honestly pretty disappointed that the Fieri hasn't gotten a lot of support considering its a pretty well done mod. That and considering it's real life counterparts cult status...

hey, heres my short list of mods that were sadly forgotten overtime: 1.Lada Car pack (partially broken, some of the cars parts have no textures, and the google drive link to download is gone so you have to get it from modland) 2.fait one, fully working but cant be customized 3.8x8 truck, no material gauges 4.euro semi pack, chassis and upfits are broken 5.DH super gnat, creator banned off forums 6.nokia phone, idk never tested 7.toyota ae86, no official updates 8. Herbie, same reason 9. H series RV, again. 10.oldsfullsize, working fine.

​@@Karmy. I didnt had a computer that runned beamng in 2014, so in 2013 until april 2019 i was only seeing beamng videos on KZread, and wondering when i was gonna play the game 😅😥

One thing that was iconic back then but wasn't mentioned in this video were Darren9's mods. He was banned from the repository and forums somewhere in 2020 I think and so the pages for his mods were deleted as well. Which is a shame, as he was the author of such great mods as the DH Custom Sports Bike (the first and so far only good motorbike mod for BeamNG, it still works perfectly and I still use it regularly), the DH Super Gnat (small helicopter that could shoot rockets, I also have it saved and it seems to still work but the control sheme is confusing so since the original instructions from the mod page are gone I have never learned how to actually take off), the DH Hyper Bolide (flying Bolide with jets, wings and miniguns, I don't have it saved but I doubt it works after the Bolide remaster) and that other vehicle that was an offroader/dirt speedster that nearly every BeamNG KZreadr used in 2017/2018. I have no idea what he was even banned for, but I never wanted to stir up drama so I never asked anyone from the forum admin team. And other iconic mods such as the Auriga Heron, the BELAZ, the Satsuma 210 (it was so advanced for it's time, the devs just added openable doors to vanilla vehicles while this mod had them in 2017, also if I'm not mistaken it was the first convertible on the repo with a working folding roof, something that no vanilla BeamNG vehicle has to this day), the WLD locomotive (first in-depth train mod) as well sa iconic maps including Altitude, Roane County (largest map for a long time), Car Jump Arena, Fujigoko, Garfield Heights, atoll, Mammoth Valley, So-Cal Interstate, Tavaci Monadnock, Trynelgren, Coronoa Isle and last but definitely not least, Leap of Death. Also an anticipated but forgotten mod that you could add to the list would be Blijo's Fintray Roadster, as he doesn't really develop it anymore after his real life got in the way.

My favourite outdated mod is Varietymod. It was really mindblowing - rolling covet, electric sunburst. There was so many configs with unique descriptions and parts behind them. So sad that it is pretty impossible to maintain global configuration mods due to regular game updates.

One of my favorite old mods, that is broken now was Gavril H-series RV upfit by EcoNadder77

Not a car mod but still. Two forgotten maps are Sadler Gorge and Destructible Gas Station level. They were ahead of its time and are super fun to play on. Both of them still work and I've played for hours on both. Highly recommend it for destructions lovers

Oh boy do I remember the Prasu. I initially got beamNG because I wanted to look at what it was all about, without really being into cars. Upon seeing that mod in a video and loving the look of the car, I downloaded it, and it dragged me into a rabbit hole of Japanese cars, allowing me to quickly grow an interest. Now, four years later, the A80 Supra is my favourite car, and I own a T18 Celica, another favourite of mine.

Hey, what map are you using at the very beginning of the video for the junkyard? Also, I personally think you should have included the Oldsmobile, delta 88 that is a very old mod that is still very high-quality and puts up with the standards of today’s mods.

I personnally remember playing the Renault 5 Turbo years ago. It does not works anymore, but I managed to find a fix somewhere I don't remember exactly.

I remember like it was today when I downloaded a BeamNG (in the early days, maybe Beam wasa at maximum 2 years old) which had the first mod ever made, and I think even I downloaded it too after.. It was the cadillac. I could go so fast with that car lol. I remember when I had downloaded the C2 mod right before it was banned, the car didnt work lol. But I downloaded bitron soon after. I miss some maps too that were never updated... The Golf Mk1 was legendary too, along with the Oka 111 (both updated nowdays).. I tried the skoda too, but the handling was too finicky for me to use it.the jeep i never used. The hell hopper made me very happy too. The etk I never used. The soliad i never knew too

Hey bud, fun little thing that might help you with troubleshooting on the bitron. With that one variation acting weird what you might try and do is clear your game cache. It's helped me on some mods that act the same way

Some mods that are pretty forgotten are the Fait One (or Fiat Uno) the first gen (and maybe even the second) Ibishu Kashira. Another forgotten mod is the AE86.

Bluebuck Flat Top is another sadly forgotten mod. Currently not working, but can easily be fixed by adding some missing lines from the vanilla car's files to the mod.

I love how the devs made some mods into legit vehicles in the game

For the Bitron B2, I honestly love it despite its age bcz one of my aunt have a Citroën C2 in red, and bcz it was the 1st car to a lot of people (now, it's mainly the combo Citroën C1/Peugeot 107-108/Toyota Aygo which is popular, and the 206 and 207 too)

The bitron b2 mod is now fully broken as last time i spawned it all it did was become a spaceship and fly off permanently forcing me to restart beam entirely plus the hell hopper is a mod i also have downloaded currently along with prasu they still work flawlessly

I am one who does not forget cars! I was very sad when the Pontiac Fiero mod was broken😢. The Bitron B2 I still drive everyday! The Prasu I have not driven in awhile.

Another long forgotten mod that I truly miss is the Ibishu Blackfoot. An xj Cherokee mod. It really brings back a lot of emotions for me because I had a friend who is a very big fan of BeamNG drive my own an xj Cherokee. He built his Jeep in the game and played around with it, though he passed a little over a year ago now it really makes me miss the time we spent goofing around playing around with Jeeps on the game

I miss the WBIMP mod by Kuelo, currently his behind the creation and development of the KLJP mod, hoping that in the future we get both an American and European equivalents of the KLJP, with some if the cars from the long gone WBIMP.

Unfun fact: I actually managed to get older "No texture" mods to work fine on newest versions of BeamNG by making a 2gb addon of resources from the older version as a mod. I did it solely out of love for the Opel Omega mod.

The oldsmobile mod, and the Corvette C3 knockoff, i sadly dont remember the name but these were bangers back in the day

I downloaded the Prasu thinking it was any ordinary mod, once I found out that it was a old vehicle i am proud to have it installed in the repo

Another suggestion: Freightliner FS65 mod by Dummiesman This mod was released in mid-2020 and got broken once in 2021 but then again broken in 2023 by the T-series remaster, if you try to download the original file, it will have missing frame, tire, and rv part textures. A remaster of the mod still works to this day on the last page of the mod page

Another one i remember is the Fait One its based off Fiat's Uno. the old Mille model, which in my opinion is the only good version of this car (as i hate how the new uno looks like a rebranded kia soul), was in production from 1983 till 2013 (with its special edition as the vehicle went out of production due to fiat not wanting to comply with the new airbag and ABS rules and how this design was super outdated at this point in time). the mod reached a level of abandonment to the point of the whole parts tree being blank (surprisingly, no texture errors though), someone had to manually fix it because there was a lot of JBEAM syntax errors. still, this mod had no more updates since Oct 13, 2017 which is a couple days after its release. in the mod page, the developer also planned on adding more parts and engines, in the end it was just forgotten. i dont think this mod will ever be updated again, as it seems like naguluna's last activity was in 4 years ago in a development support thread.

Windowsedxp's Fieri fix works as long as you don't have a LeGran spawned in the map. I drive it all the time without issues, sans the engine which is completely orange.

For me, the original mitsubishi evo ix has a little of nostalgia to it since that was my first mod

Suggestion: Dansworth buses (C1500 and D2500) Theses buses were really iconic back in the day, but they got broken by game updates and the most recent update broke both of the buses, the D2500 being the most affected with many broken textures like broken engine textures, broken interior textures, etc due to T-series remaster. These buses aren’t really being used much anymore due to the Hirochi Aero bus, Wentward S3, Daewon buses, etc which are higher quality by a mile. Hopefully you can feature these buses in your next video when you do one.

I had two mods from this video, namely Skoda and Supra when I played on my old laptop with game version 0.11

One of the older forgotten mods in Beamng is the old Crown Victoria however Maxie made a much better version of the CVPI and so it was forgotten

Seeing the Cherokee mod reminds me of the somewhat janky early 90s Mitsubishi Pajero mod that was out around 2014

BeamNG does need some old Eastern cars, and some modern European cars. Škoda definitely is a cool brand.
