I went to see Carrot Top a few years ago in Vegas. I have NEVER laughed so hard and so long my entire life. I do not understand how underrated he is. The props are such a small part of his act- also fun and funny. Just him talking is really the best part. He is absolutely hilarious and I thank him for still entertaining folks and being such a humble, kind human. Carrot Top, you’re a treasure 💗

Yeah, it was more relaxed than usual and Bill shuts up more when CT speaks - though CT knows how to handle a talker like Bill - when he talks over you, you just keep on talkin till he shuts up. Shows he has good train of thought concentration.

I've NEVER liked Carrot Top. Before this interview, I wouldn't have considered seeing his show for a second. THIS interview has made me understand just how intelligent Carrot Top is as a person. I realize now he's someone whom I shouldn't have dismissed as insignificant fluff. If I were ever in Vegas; I would definitely make sure to see a Carrot Top show.

I must confess to having a similar opinion of CT, based on what I saw of him 30+ years ago. Just was not my type of humor. I remember Bill Hicks being rather peeved at losing out to him in awards for Comedian of the Year etc back then, and I don't think I've seen anything by CT since that era. It seems he has evolved somewhat, and would be interested enough after this interview to give him another try. After all, even George Carlin pivoted his act some years after he started out in comedy.

I remember CArrot Top did a bit on Leno back in the 90's, it was Courtney Love's guitar.. it was a guitar with an IV drip built into it. Hilarious. So I begged my wife to see him at the Luxor a few months back, and he was funny. It was Dave Chappelle stand-up level funny - but for a guy doing that many shows on consecutive nights, I was impressed with his energy, and of course it was funny (the drinks helped) Don't let the haters get you down Carrot Top, you are a true professional and have had a great career!

As a lifelong standup fan, I was never much into prop comics, but as Bill said, you can respect the player even if you’re not into the game, and if I’m in the mood for it, there’s Carrot Top, Gallagher, Amazing Jonathan---then everyone else in this standup subgenre. Admittedly, I was skeptical about what kind of interview he’d be, but his show-biz stories were pure gold, in Club Random’s Top 5 of all time. And he seems more like a fan of all these other celebrities he meets, even though he’s one of them. (Bill tries to pull this persona off now and then, but his show-biz-veteran ego gets in the way, though to be fair, he’s pretty upfront about the fact that he thinks he’s a big deal.)

I love Scott so much. I live in the UK and went to Vegas a few years back but never knew who he was then so didnt go to see his show. I hope he comes to UK one day. Sometimes I feel like he has quite a british sense of humour. He can be quite dry and use sarcasm and sometimes when i see his audience response, I honestly think some people do not get it. I even think Bill's responses are a bit off here too. Not only that he just seems interested in talking at him. Bill seems egotistical. But Carrot Top is the most humble and beautiful performer I've ever come across.

You were staying on my floor. I had on a bathrobe and a towel on my head, and zero makeup. I was coming from having a massage. I was getting out of the elevator and you were (supposed) to be getting in.. But you found me intriguing and did not get in to the elevator, You were not rude or creepy. You just found me beautiful lol xox Big fan for a long long time

I know he doesn't like Trump. I don't think it's every episode. I like his content even though I support Trump. It's not typical of real Trumpers to be "fragile" about showing support or similarities every second. That's a Democrat mindset.

Of course CT's mascara, big guns, and giant hair are different from anybody. Hahaha... Also the same sitting arrangement as Bill and David, which is a less used alternate area of the Club.
