Cuban is wrong on gold here. He doesn't understand the history of money. It's like saying if you hold a Rolex, you own nothing because people could just take it off you. In reality, as history has shown over 1000's of years, humans have rarely lived in a totally lawless environment (for long). So physical gold, is always going to be worth something. Also, we aren't going to see society totally collapse. Cuban doesn't not understand gold and he doesn't understand money.

I heard of Mark Cuban late in life & was happy to read about his medical help for the people. Now on this show I actually see how special he is. Love his fun, humor & common sense!!🥰💗

I hope you have him on again, on your other show too. How nice it was to listen to someone serious but balanced. Please push this guy to come on more often and have him on longer than the others .

Both 'sides' have changed the meaning, and seem to want to further pigeon-hole people. I'm Liberal in most ways, but I also think this woke / pc stuff is mostly tripe. I ain't hugely anti-conservative either on policy, I disagree on points that I consider 'classic' , but I see fewer good faith actors on that side. People like Ralph Reed, or Chris Christie... I am okay with not fully agreeing with, but respecting where their *honest* opinions arise from.

I met Bill more than 20 years ago in NYC, and liked him since then. Who you see on TV is who he is in person. I am glad he started this pod. Keep drinking on this show, Bill !

@@bradyrobinson5282 agree somewhat...Bill used to be worse about interrupting his guest, he is a little laxer on this format because there are no time limit constraints or commercial breaks to go to, but yeah, he does cut them off still, just not as bad as he has been known for....To Cuban's credit, he knew how to jump back on track and finish his point rather than let Bill squash what he was trying to say.

I love the original taking of Pelham 123! It was filmed before I was born but it was a golden age of American film making! Walter Matthau was great!

bill got real about why he smokes weed everyday (44:45) ... I used to think of him as a seth rogan kind of celebrity kind of smoker, but man Bill is using it as he "needs it for everything he does that he values".. you do you Bill - most chill and real podcast out there

Marc seems to be a decent human. I like him. I remember seeing Mahr on Johnny Carson back in the 80s.

Ive seen Bill Maher before in many situations, on stage, behind the scenes when I worked in news media, on the road, and here in LA about town....love him. Ive only seen mark cuban once in my life, when I had a freelance gig in Dallas, TX in 2019, I was running a teleprompter for a Fireside Q&A chat for a show featuring Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarret at the American Airlines arena, which Mark has the lease on and he allowed the event to take place there, anyway, he was there backstage, and saw him texting from his phone with his kids as he strolled by video village....was pretty cool.

Mark Cuban has been my favorite team owner of my era. Always seemed really down to earth.

Really he normally schedules 3 of these each Wednesday and drops them out of order. I can usually tell by how high he is if its the first or third interview.
