CARP FISHING IN LONDON- The Coppermill Stream! Back for the bigun...
I've always been fascinated by the Coppermill stream. Not only is it one of the most picturesque venues I've ever fished, It's also one of the most exciting places to catch carp from. Throughout this campaign I worked my way through some of the stunning carp that resided in the river, with the aim to finally catch the big mirror. #carpfishing #angling #fishing

What a fisherman , real urban fisher , bounces round London with all his gear on public transport !! No one does it better not even close! Then he turns up n catches monsters , real understanding of carp , fishing and nature. What a guy xx

Coppermill great venue! Very weedy so no need to react to a bite instantly

@@khamzatchimaev3505 It’s actually not very weedy. It’s full of Lily pads and eel grass. So it’s important to hit the rod as fast as possible to avoid the carp charging it’s way through👊🏻

@khamzatchimaev3505 why would you not hit your rod ASAP when your fishing a weedy venue? As Jacob stated you want too hit it quickly too get it away from the weed before it goes ploughing through it all. Just my opinion mate
Most carp anglers I know, rock up, week in week out at their syndicate, power barrow round to their spots, spomb, rods out, then social and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that BUT this style of fishing just appeals to me so much more! Reminds me of growing up, getting the bus in to town with all my gear, to fish the park lake or the river or balancing all my gear on me mums shopping bike, seat box balanced in the basket at the front and the rest hanging off me from every direction, falling off a dozen times before I got there. What great memories...
When I lived in Walthamstow ….. before I became a carp angler I fished that stream for barble ….and the res ‘s for bream !!!🎣🎣
Used to fish Coppermill and river lee back waters in the 70s . A little paradise in the city great days no one i knew fished for carp back then .
Amazing! And a boyfriend who cooks you amazing food! Lucky man.
Great film , nice simmo common at the end caught by that old boy, with a match net too!

Beautiful mix of events. Interesting place to fish. Love summer rain The reason they feed up current is they have more control over what they choose to eat....
Use to be epic perch in that stream spent so many days fishing there during the late 90s. I cant believe how much its changed from looking at this video.
Nice. Just the sort of carp fishing I like. Opportunist. Active.
Another great video mate 👌🎣
Great video , nice simmo caught by that old disabled man with a match net at the end too .Nice to see youngsters helping people with inadequate tackle and disability to enjoy fishing 👏

Proper inspirational mate! Love these videos 💙👊
Awsome video Jacob nice fish🎣
Nice work as always Jacob. I love hunting my carp. My early work took me from the north west to London in the 80s where I was amazed to find some of the first urban carp in ponds on Clapham Common and in the park lake at Crystal Palace. I loved it, it kept me sane in the urban jungle as I wasn’t expecting to find carp in the big city at all. It brings back so many memories, great stuff.😊
Love these videos, get me going!!!
Great city fishing video, love to see it Jacob! 🔵
Another absolute banging 💥💥 film mate, really well done Jacob, the filming on the fly type content interspersed with regular camera angles makes for an excellent piece. All the best . 🙏☮️🙏

Fished the coppermill stream in the early 1990s as a prolific roach fishery. Had red letter days pole and hemp.
Quality watch mate 👌 what are u using to push your kit around on mate?
Love watching your videos. What is the trolley you use?
I loved fishing on this stream years ago caught some lovely Perch Roach and Chubb does anyone know where all these fish went cos don’t see anything in there anymore I did hear it was something to do with a water pump somebody else said that the cormorants ate all the fish
@laurencedavies6680

I dought cormerants would do that mate cuz an ecosystem always finds its way of staying balanced but it is probs pollution like whats happened in almost all if not all the rivers in the uk
This stream was once had some of the finest roach fishing in the country are they still there?
Egg white is great kidney cleaner x

not knocking Jacob, but behind the lower, used to be non fenced and free game. Are the fences there for the public, or to stop fishing?
