A difficult day stalking in bright sunshine and dropping wind conditions with a fantastic ending, resulted in me catching one of the pit5 jewels

id say 70% of ALL the carp i’ve caught at ALL venues have been within 10ft of the bank + my go to bait is a single piece of pop up corn with a couple of small handfuls of free offerings and a couple of handfuls of trout pellets 👍,good angling man👍.

Never been to bluebell lakes sounds like an absolute nightmare to me mate. Norton Disney is busy enough for me mate can’t get my head around people bivving up behind you can’t be enjoyable no matter how big the fish

Nice, hard pit 5 for stalking. The deep margins make finding "in close fish" difficult. It's getting even harder now the autumn is here. Cracking fish shows they are in there though Jay. I'm about 2 days a week so maybe we will meet up soon. Look for an old man in dark glasses creeping around waking up the van sleeper, Ha! Ha!

Thanks Richard, problem with 5 is the clarity this year it just won’t clear. Hopefully see you soon good to compare notes good look with the stalking, like you said October is not the best month you need the big winds now
