My first ever celebrity crush.

I have a very good friend who taught Carolyn Jones dancing about a year before she died. She said she was extremely sweet and kind..a real dear lady.

Even in her 50’s she was still a doll.

Carolyn did a great job keeping it together given she was going through treatment for cancer at that time. You can see she had a wig on as she probably lost her hair due to chemotherapy. She was an amazing woman, loved her in Addams Family! She died a year before Lisa Loring's (Wednesday Addams) real life mother died from alcoholism.

I think she aged badly due to chemotherapy (chemotherapy accelerates the aging). I bet she would look much younger & beautiful if cancer didn't strike her. But still beautiful though.

She was very sexy on Addams Family and it was noted in some of her interviews over the years post her last acting gig prior to her dying that she was depressed about the state of her career with so many promising hits becoming misses. She felt Addams Family had staying power and sad that she missed the 1990s renaissance for the series with the movies, new TV show and cartoon which dusted off the original series for a new return to syndication that lasted up until 2000.

After watching this, I love her even more.

I love her so much! Her laugh is adorable and she's so funny!

I cried while watching this, knowing she's not with us anymore is so sad, and I'm so sad that I wasn't alive when she was. If only she was still alive, I can just tell that she's an amazing woman, that anyone would have been lucky to know, my heart goes out to her and her family 😢♥️ Rest well Carolyn, you're greatly missed

I got upset watching it too, but at least her relatives get to see what type of person she was.

Imagine going through that awful early cancer treatment and all that pain, and still telling people it was only ulcers and putting on a brave face for the public. So, so sad ... but what grace and strength!

poor thing, she was hiding her cancer, such a brave lady!

Yep, she worked until the end of her life, she loved acting. She used the show as therapy to keep her focused on the future instead of her condition. In one her finale interviews, she acknowledges that the cast and crew were very accommodating by working around her schedule and making scenes easier for her by having the character seated a lot and such

I agree with you. Carolyn Jones was above everything a very nice person.

She was just pure CLASS

Now being her age I realize how young she really was to pass away I remember seeing this episode as a kid I always loved her I was just watching house of wax with Vincent price and Carolyn Jones ❤️

Thank you for posting this. I enjoyed watching a lot. Carolyn seemed fun, friendly, and down to Earth. Cancer is one of the worst things I can imagine.

I saw Carolyn Jones on another Game show by herself. I believe it was either Tic Tac Toe, or Jokers Wild. She appeared to be on there as a regular non-celebrity contestant. If anyone finds it, please post it. Thanks!

Yep, he died in 1991 and he was a peak of his career as well of creating and hosting game shows. He just remarried five months before his death

Carolyn's eyes look pretty both in black and white and in color. I like the way she can open her eyes wide for expression. She would make use of it wonderfully on the Addams Family.
