I wasn’t aware that she passed away so young. We always loved her as Mortica on the Addams Family !! It is so weird to see how happy and animated she is in the show. 🦇🥀

This is soooo cool... I love Carolyn and its great to see her like this.. So down to earth.. So spontaneous..what a lovely and beautiful soul

Carolyn Jones and Barry Sullivan were so very articulate. Also, they seemed like very genuine and kind people.

She had a hearty fun laugh. Taken so young. Lovely lady.

Mr Sullivan stood and held the chair for the contestant who joined him..SO IMPRESSIVE.

I caught Betty White in the front row of the audience at the shows opener. Guess her relationship with Ludden was just beginning. So cute.

TY for sharing this, never seen, or heard of this quiz. Carolyn Jones was a delight. Praise too, for Barry Sullivan, a solid & most dependable second lead & character actor. Performed alongside many of the top female stars in Hollywood history-Doris Day, Barbara Stanwyck, Bette Davis & Joan Crawford. :-)

It was a great show for many years.

Today is November 1, 2018. This episode is 52 years old today.

Here she looks like Morticia's mother. That long dark hair she had on The Addams Family made her look way more beautiful and younger she should have adopted that hairstyle for life

I agree, Carolyn does look much older here than she did on The Addams Family.

Both panelists were great

My 9th birthday! Must have missed it while I was at school ...sigh.

That guy they BOTH tried to play with, in the black suit STUNK ON ICE!!!

Now I know why she is great actress... from Texas!!

Betty Whites dress is the same one she wore in the last episode which makes me think they shot more than one episode on this day...

Yep. Usually at least 5 as I understand. Same as the "Jeopardy!" programs. The winner and the host go backstage and put on a different shirt/blouse, dress, tie, coat, then gets back on stage for the next "Day" program. The audience takes a rest room break, and then the new "Day" starts again.

1:50 I could imagine some of the audience members thinking, "The first password in NOVEMBER? It's still October!" since the shows were all taped in advance with five taped in one day.

And, he claimed to have a B.A. in English. He had no clue what a snare or loop were, the contestant and the Celeb had to explain it to him. HOW did he ever get a job on a program about words?

Note to the "Password" Y.T. channel person: Thanks for putting these up on the internet. This episode has no "CC" option and was very hard to hear, except for Barry Sullivan. Any way of getting the "CC" tab working? Ugh! What is that thing the female Celeb is wearing? Looks like she just finished an episode of "Star Trek" and stole the bottom part of a space suit, she is missing the bubble helmet. The male contestant REALLY needed to buy and leaf through a Thesaurus before getting on national TV program about words and showing what a doofus, he was. Staring at the Celeb, and waving your hands around is NOT giving an answer. Barry Sullivan was better than most Celebs at "The Lightning Round".

For 'Fussy' if it were 10 years later I'd have said Carlin.
