Carolina Beach reminds of Myrtle Beach back in the 60's and 70's,well earlier times anyway.

Hey, thanks so much for the tour! It's been a few years since we were at Carolina Beach but we're headed there soon. So helpful to see the layout of the stores and restaurants. BTW I'm afraid of ferris wheels too! I'm going to brave it though because I like that it's a permanent ride. Terrific to know that. Thanks for all the great info!

I absolutely love boardwalks like this. This summer I went to Ocean City MD and Rehoboth Beach DE, and the boardwalks were my favorite part! This is the third video I watch about Carolina Beach NC and I should definitely visit this place. Also, it is pretty cool that you can change the backing of the seats to adjust what you want to look at.

If you are a fan of boardwalks? You will enjoy yourself at Carolina Beach boardwalk. It has that wonderful small town beach vibe. And nice variety of things to do. I am going to do another boardwalk video later this year at Myrtle Beach, SC. That might be another place to visit also if you are traveling from far away. Thank you for watching. Went to Carolina Beach recently. Everywhere you go is Pay to Park. What is a great beach town is being financially hurt by this, as Beach goers simply dont visit as many restaurants and the Boardwalk because the greedy city council wants a few more bucks from tourists. It is hurting the local businesses and favors the few places to stay within walking distance to the Boardwalk. It also huts the places not on oceanfront because even the beach accesses are pay to park. I will visit a beach town who doesn't do this to tourists already taxed from the hotel stay and sales taxes from purchases. Kure Beach is the same way, even pay to park is at the pier.

I feel your pain. I hated to see the dreaded pay to park signs a few years ago. But, unfortunately other beaches are following the pay to park model. These year Oak Island and I think Holden Beach in Brunswick County are pay to park too. Thanks for watching and commenting. There is a lot of people that feel the same way as you. Greedy is right, it's not like ya don't already pay big $$ to stay a week or to eat. Even Key West DON'T charge $25.00 a day Geez!

69 years old here and I remember those good steel bumpcars 55 years ago. 25 cents to ride. Steel to steel. No rubber bumpers. Like you said, when you ran into someone you felt it. Would like to find some more of those

@@happynesscomeswithtime1299 No I have not. I have only been to Ocean Isle beach once. I don't get down that way often enough. We have a tradition to walk to the Kindred Spirit Mailbox every year. That is located at the neighboring Sunset Beach. That is about as close as I get to Ocean Isle Beach. But who knows. I have thought about making videos about all the surrounding beaches.😆

I went on a double Farris wheel when I was 12ish, it got stuck on the very top going around, and took forever for them to fix it to where it would go back down. 😳

Carolina Beach has been growing a lot over the last 10 years. My favorite thing about the town growth is all the great food options. Thanks for watching and enjoy the rest of your day.

Is it safe to walk around at night? We found Myrtle was not safe. We usually go to Daytona and it’s run down now. Looking for a family friendly beach with lower crowds. Thanks 😊

I have never had a problem walking around at night. We all always feel safe at the boardwalk. Carolina Beach can have crime just like any other place. But for the most part it is a pretty laid back feel. It will be more crowded in the summer months. But far less than Myrtle Beach. Thanks for watching!

That boardwalk looks like it's normally a really busy place. Not bad pricing on that menu. May have to check that place out. We just returned from Nagshead in the Outer Banks portion of North Carolina.
