The evidence that shows just what type of person Sharon is continues to come out. Carmine is a legendary drummer. He, Bob, and Jake made that album as great as it was.

Damn....!!!!!!!!!!!! who could say this guy is 74 years old and still holds his ground; this is a clear example of what "rock and roll" does to you, it keeps you alive and young forever.

I had a nice chat with Carmine at UCLA about 10 years ago. He's a great guy; personable, down to earth, happy to share. It's hard to imagine a better ambassador for the drums, and metal. Carry on, Carmine!

I met Carmine at a drum clinic in Hamilton Ontario Canada. He was already gone from Ozzy’s band and was starting King Cobra at the time. He had a really nice cherry red, double bass drum kit that night. On the way out, he was standing behind a table shaking hands and signing autographs. He was a really nice guy, and boy, did he ever have a really hard, solid hit on those drums, it sounded like thunder.

I met him in Houston backstage at that Ozzy gig. He just so happen to be walking around by the tour buses and semi. He was a nice guy really cool, he even signed his autograph on some photo I had torn from some magazine of him in front of some drums. Wish I still had it. And to think all that Sharon the witch drama was going on.

I'm commenting nine months after this was posted, but I just had to. My friend and I had the opportunity to meet Carmine backstage after a concert at the then Brendan Byrne Arena at the Meadowlands in NJ (I forget what year it was). Ron Delsner, the promoter, asked my friend and I, who were just standing around near the elevator, to bring a cart of food down to the backstage area.

I was lucky enough to see Carmine on that tour. I'll never forget it. I was 5th row center, and Ozzy was absolutely insane....I mean really insane..he ripped Jake by his hair right down to the stage, and I couldn't believe it...Jake kept playing....Motley Crue opened..Shout at the Devil tour.

I saw Carmine with Ozzy at Newcastle Mayfair ( UK ) . I had previously seen 3 shows with Lee Kerslake ( all phenomenal ) and 2 shows with Tommy Aldridge ( both brilliant but in different ways to Kerslake ) ... Carmine was phenomenal live , combining the rock solid feel of Kerslake with the flash and super chops of Aldridge . If he'd had the opportunity to stick around and record an album with that line up it would have been an incredibly powerful statement on his behalf .

I got to hang out with Carmine for several hours after an Edgar Winter show in Houston. What an awesome and down to earth guy. It was like hanging out with an old friend.

Carmine didn't actually record the drum tracks on Bark at the Moon though, Tommy did ,it just took Tommy a long time to record his parts. Bob mentions that in his book. Once fat Sharon got involved Bob and Lee were kicked out, Tommy was brought in kicked out, Carmine in then out, Jake brought in kicked out etc. Carmine seems like a good guy, and obviously a great drummer.
