I've followed him for the last 5 years or so and I said ever since I saw him for first time playing his KZread sets at home this kid is going to be MASSIVE... NOW I say this kid is going to be Known and then Remembered as the Greatest of all time. He is PHENOMENAL! And it's WELL DESERVED and Hard worked for by him and the dedication of his family to get him to be able to do this also. What an immeasurable level of Soul, hard gotten ability and God given innate talent!

Taj is an absolute beast! So great to see young kids still in love with the classics! As a 90s kid, I envy people like my father who grew up during the classic rock era. Absolutely timeless

I'm so grateful that Carlos graced this young man with a chance to play with him on his stage.Taj is wonderful! 😀😘

THAT was just beautiful... Taj playin' with the big boys, AND HOLDING HIS OWN !!! This kid has definitely got a future in music... for sure.

This kid is so amazing . And to be recognized by Carlos . It just says it all about Taj’s talent .

This kid just blows me away. How can someone soo young and so inexperienced with life play the blues like that ? AMAZING !!!!

I love the way Taj played what he emotionally felt and did not try to copy Carlos note for note.

yes, he put his soul into those phrases he is expressing. Kids nowadays tend to show off speed at the expense of soul. Speed does not make a guitarist a Master. It is the soul the kid infuses into his playing that makes him unique at such a very young age. Where does he get all those experiences at such a young age to play with his heart & soul? Is he a reincarnation of SRV?

This kid is the true meaning of a child prodigy, Brilliant and what an honour to play with Carlos Santana

I've watched this so many times, it's beautiful, like a master and an apprentice having a conversation with their guitars.

I saw Carlos 40 years ago, when I was your age. What an honor Carlos Santana must have felt to play with Taj.

​@@budiwidjaja2478I don’t hear the similarity at all. SRV played with so much intensity, he'd snap heavy strings. Taj plays with more bends and phrasing; more emotion. Not taking anything away from SRV at all. He's still considered one of the best ever and rightly so. My entire point is he and Taj have two different styles in the way they play.

The most amazing part is Taj gets it. His timing, his feeling and emotion and everything that takes decades to understand. You don’t teach that, especially to a kid. There’s other young kids that play good, maybe almost as good technically, but they’re flat compared to Taj. He just blows me away, then again, SRV’s soul had to go somewhere. I don’t know what the definition of IT is, but Taj’s picture is next to it. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. Gives us something to look forward to.

Absolutely. The soulful singing of Seal was the cherry on top of this outstanding performance.

Also in seiner Altersklasse ist er eindeutig die Nummer 1, er kann alles was er hört behalten und jeden Riff auf der Gitarre rein aus dem Gehör übertragen. Toll von Carlos Santana diesen Jungen auf seine Bühne zu holen. Danke lieber Taj und Danke Carlos. SUPER !!!!!

Santana. Some of the coolest shows w the coolest vibes ... Over shadow almost every other show I've ever been to. Several hundred. And this guy is strait blending.

You know this kids parents are something special also.

Carlos is a great and good soul. All these experiences will be absorbed by this young man and build him up and up. His raw talent will raise him high, but how he learns to be a good man- a good human is what'll keep him there.

Taj's confidence without being too cocky is astounding! Kid is definitely a reincarnated blues player. Being onstage looks like he has just returned home. So comfortable even playing with the great Santana! Wish he would cover Texas Flood or Tin Pan Alley.

He is at the top of mine too. For Taj to be exposed to a genius like Carlos at this stage of his journey is great for him and I think Carlos too. Carlos plays with his heart and that is something very difficult to teach much less learn at ten years old. What a future he has ahead of him. Good luck to you my friend.

I saw that Santana tour in Syracuse when Neil was a teenager. Incredible show. I've been listening to Taj for at least a year and wondering when this would happen. Also had the pleasure here in the Utica area watching Joe Bonamassa grow up to the great one he is. Taj is special. What's up with the water in Australia. Tal Wilkenfeld, John Butler, Trevor Hall all showed up here in the States very young. Now Taj. Can't wait to see his first band on tour.

@@keithsoisson1797 Yes you are so correct, we can expect great things from him in the future. The main thing facing him is his ability to wright songs. That is what will make him explode. If he just plays others songs he will just be another musician and not a rock star.

I watched a master class with Carlos Santana and thought, I feel you. Only 1 problem I've only played air guitar. This kid is simply amazing and he can play anything. He already has his own style: he used to look more traditional, now he has dreads, a hat and can make deep down in your soul stanky guitar face. A force to watch.

10 yr old Taj. Amazing. I walked into a record store on Pearl St in Boulder Co several years ago and heard what sounded like live music coming from the back of the store. Turns out it was Santos Santana, Carlos’ son jamming with his band. Very good.

So amazing that this old lady has chill bumps on her wrinkled old arms. This is a true pairing of artists.
