I know I’m a bit late to the party but I need to make a comment . Finally , someone who innately knows how to interview child artists; talk WITH the artist , not just TO the child .... heaven knows , we all might even learn something . I fully concur with Nico’s above praise . Great interview , Pete .

His licks are great, full of feel and soul, his vibrato and bends are super good for his age. BUT what really blows my mind is the fact he uses his guitar pickup selection and volume like a veteran! Pete looked like he wanted to jam all day!

I ve seen lots of kid guitarist on youtube that can sweep pick and bends, but this kid has the exact amount of pick and attack and bends, microtonal etc. He sounds more natural, than other kids which have talent but sounds kinda robotic. He is sure to be legend in the future.

Others play what their taught. This kid feels and understands music. I would say he at this time is above most any amateurs. By 15 Eddie Van Halen will be learning from him.

I just saw an interview with Taj and his dad. He started when he was 7. And now this kid blows everyone’s mind. He’s so amazing this kid. He’s gonna go far. He drips with talent and he’s a nice kid too. He doesn’t play music he IS music.

mel obrien really, bigotry still going strong in your home. Pathetic. She’s doing just s bit better than you I’d say and why do u care what she does in her private life? She’s not affecting you. Go back in your basement. Everytime someone brings someone else’s business up it makes me think you’re hiding something. Because it doesn’t bother anybody else with self esteem.

@@hollisscriber3695 that kid is into playing guitar as much as he can does not have time to waste on internet. HIS Dad was dragging him to rock concerts where he felt in love with AC DC.

Oh me too, I know mom and dad will. At some point they won't be able to. So let's all just swear right now that if anyone ever does do that we all will gather (millions at a time) and Rochambeau them. I am a 60 yr old grandmother and can't stop watching him . I wondered if he liked slash . I do . But now my favorite forever will be Taj farrant. He is just so damn cool, old school cool too. And cool about everything. His replies, his choice of wardrobe, and what to play , when and how to play it. He's polite, respectful speaking to others. Not cocky like so many young musicians are these days. And he still remains humble. And he still remains a kid, when he's not being a pro. Did you catch his performance on America's Got talent? If not watch it my favorite part is when he walks down to the judges. Man, I got it meet this kid before I drop dead. I've never wanted to meet anyone. Lol
