What a great Ambassador both DJs where Colin’s Dale & Favour Where way ahead of there time. The techno that They played before it went crazy Fast after 94 was just unique to them & a few other great DJs that played that style of Techno before all the UKs finest started playing jungle & breakbeat from late 92 was just so disappointing that I started to listen to DJs Like CJ Bolland Jeff Mills Laurent Garnier Joey Beltram Dave Angel Colin Dale and Favour Tanith Sven Vath Derek May Ritchie Hawtin : To Many To mention. I was at Twilo in NYC back on 2001 on Presidents’ Day. It was a Sunday / Monday party and the Djs that evening were Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox. Back to Back destruction… the bombs these guys were dropping were nuts. 13 hours later it was Monday afternoon. Left at 5:30pm after Danny closed the party. Most memorable club night. Carl was great

I also lived in Melbourne for 6 years, visited the Mornington peninsula often enough but never bumped into him there where he also lives. Then one day my friend who has always come to his gigs with me, just happened to have the same local cafe as Carl… saw him one day and sent me their happy selfie with coffees in hand haha

1st mix cd I bought was Carl’s FACT 1 in ‘95. Almost 30 years later he’s still entertaining the crowds - a class act & decent human ❤️

So skillful and always looks like he's enjoying every minute true house music legend there from the beginning true great!%

First saw him 92, one of the reasons i got into DJing, he blew my mind back then and he's still doing it today. Big ups Carl. 🙌❤️
