Can be hard to determine that. Probably trust someone who knows there stuff with like years and years experience. Give them the test before tho, take them a piece from where you know it comes from and see if they tell you it's that or something else. Act like you don't know ,if they fail just say thank you if not maybe take their word for it. They will sometimes tell you it's plastic I'll give you ten dollars for it cause I'm feeling generous then slap a 500 dollar price on it or more. Be careful who you trust man , getting burned tho is just part of the learning curve. This kind of green was 80s trash from what I've been told so wasn't much of it used back then.

Anthony, yeah you are probably right. Never calculated it, but I know that Ernie sells it for 7 - 20 dollars per carat depending on grade last I knew. He may be higher now even.
