Great information but, Music too loud and distracting
Very informative about the early jewelry!! Thank you John,
Awesome. I learned a lot about the different types of turquoise jewelry and stones.
What an important video. Thank you!
Just gorgeous!
Absolutely stunning...

Regards from Florida!! I always loved sterling silver jewelry, but since we got our second home in Aspen Colorado 5 years ago, now I am very interested in Native American Sterling Jewelry. I have started my Collection of this type of jewelry, I am obsessed now. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, and showing us all your beautiful pieces.

Love the turquoise bracelet by Mark
I love the music, although it is louder than the speaker. I want to hear the speaker.
love indian jewery ,i collect bolo ties, love this program. joe e indiana
awesome
Thank a lot for this video. I put closed captioning on so the music did not bother me at all. You know a lot about the Native American Jewelry. I assume you live in the midwest. I have began to appreciate turquoise and silver lately.
Love the music but would edit it lower
So magnificent 🤩😍🥰
This is a great video for information, however, the music is so loud it is hard to understand what you are saying.
Are you familiar with the American Trading Post that was once located in Buffalo, MO and supposedly at the time run by Col. Randy Ganolan(sp?).
❤
Do u know zuni artist / ZME ZUNI NM? I have a ring from that artist. I think it's a concheta, dont know if i spelled it right. I need work done on it. It has 2 circles on top of each other with 1/2 shell line of jet & 1/2 turquoise. Both halves of turquoise fell out. On ea. side of the ring it has a round piece of coral. Kinda trying to find out if this person still works.
wow youre awesome thanks for the lessons you taught me today 92722
Sorry but it is hard to hear You over the flute
Thanks for the info! I wish I knew everything... I am a semi beginner collector and dealer. I just know I've let some treasures go because I don't know all I should yet... I am always learning though! It's still hard for me to know what mines some turquoises are from... Some of the different ones look alike to me... What would be the best way to tell if turquoise is real or not? I have a huge cluster bracelet that I am not quite sure about. BTW I see some of y'all can't hear the vocals over the music.. It really helps if you use headphones! :)

I am on a turquoise forum, and you can't be completely sure of where a stone is from without actual provenance. But it's fun to learn, and try to guess.
MUSIC IS TO LOUD CAN'T HEAR YOU.. to well
Thank you for the very interesting and informative video! Did the Native Americans also use copper and brass for jewellery? I recently bought a bangle made out of copper with a nice piece of turquoise and cobras made out of brass on it.

Copper was /is occasionally used; I haven't seen brass. I don't believe a cobra would be on a native American piece.
I can not hear for the music too loud.
Sorry about the flute

Dillon Hartman love the flute
music too loud.
Should an owner of older jewelry not try to polish the pieces?

If you're not selling it it's really up to you, but the patina is part of the beauty. If you're going to sell, I wouldn't polish, because buyers are often looking for the softer look of the silver. Maybe just touch it up lightly with a silver polishing cloth. I practically never have to polish, because wearing the jewelry keeps it naturally polished.
Love your videos, but please lower volume of background music - annoying and distracts from your narrative.

Is this question actually on how to find the fake stones from the real ones ?
why do Cowboys want to dress like Indians and why do Indians want to dress like Cowboys? wish I could buy a trading post, great video,
Drop the flute. At least lower the volume
You need LESS music and more voice. I listen to these blogs to learn about jewelry .I cannot hear a word you say..I have flute tapes I can listen to.

A am sorry, I am just a rookie at it, I will try to do better next plus, I can wear a microphone.
Sure wish I could hear what he's saying. Bet it was really interesting. Guess I'll just be satisfied with the meaningless flute music.
