Amazing work as usual! What was your cloth material layup and did you find this mast stiff enough?

Hi, really cool parts, it inspires me to try building something, but would be without the electric motor as I intend to use behind a boat. For the epoxy holding the halves together, have you ever had an issue of these splitting down the road? I noticed in previous videos you did a later of carbon between as well. Is there a reason you stepped away from that method?

Es increible y elegante!! Veo que en este caso estas utilizando un motor maytech(no se si se escribe asi). El prototipo 2 lo hiciste con otro motor + gearbox. El motor que utilizaste puede ser sss56114? Que kv? (Y porque?) Y el gearbox nema 23? 5:1? No se si se llegara a leer, pero gracias por los videos!! Estoy intentando hacer algo y tengo bastantes dudas!!

How did you find the 300a ESC went with that motor

At 5:55 what do you use as a filler to fill the mast piece? looks like a very thick carbon cloth or someting?

Hi, I have differents types of aditives to get more density in my resin and pigments, the black colour is a pigment. I use colloidal silica, micro spheres and c. fiber powder it depends the aplicattion, If I need a strong piece I mix resin with carbon fiber powder or colloidal silica, for easy sanding surface I use resin with micro espheres, Maytech have a good electronic synergy , recomended!

He's answered the question so many times, I thought I would suggest that an alternative for the black pigment is graphite powder, available easily on Amazon. Also screen printing ink was in a previous answer. Nice work as always @virus !

Hi virus, I am building my own efoil and your are my biggest inspiration. I am using the maytech motor, but I am struggling to find the right motor, do you have any suggestions? Your videos inspire me.

Hi Aedan, thanks friend, I think maytech set is a very good setup, 65162 motor, 300A ESC and maytech waterproof remote, recomended! you only need to find the perfect build for your style.

Compro la resina y las fibras en distintos sitios, azo composites, resin pro, en la descripcion tienes un enlace con un cupon para comprar material. Si quieres algo tuyo personalizado y hacer repeticiones no hay mas opcion que hacer moldes, es mas caro pero si haces lo que deseas, disfrutas viendo tus diseños en f carbono y ademas puedes hacer mas copias entonces el camino es hacer moldes. Si quieres hacer algo rápido y solo uno entonces reconvierte un foil, sera mas barato

@@virus_virus Con reconvertir un foil te refieres a coja uno entero, (tipico barato) y le rehaga las alas?. Estoy pensando en conseguir uno o incluso dos y necesito que sea lo mas barato posible al menos para empezar

Me refiero a comprar un foil y convertirlo en eléctrico. Las alas si valen no tendrás que hacerlas. Tengo varios vídeos de como reconvertí un foil en efoil. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ia2qvKNunNiXoLw.html

Thank you so much, that charger looks really high tech, could you use an Ebike charger with the same voltage as the nominal voltage of your battery or will that not work or reduce the life span of your battery
