Car Tour of Solo Woman Living Cheap in a Car!

In today’s video we meet Linda who is living in her Acura car. It’s hard to believe that she can do it, but she takes us through a day in her life and shows us exactly how she does everything that she used to do in her house, she now does in her car. I think you’ll be dazzled by her organization and how thoughtfully she lives.

You back on track, so to speak?. . . Not that you were ever off track But you know what I mean, how did you do it? I'm a 41 year old male struggling to find a job because I am on the wrong side of the demographics here in South Africa and I need some encouragement. I just had my interview for tomorrow cancelled because they found someone with the "right" blackround :) just my luck. . . . . Hope that guy does well. He probably needed it more than me and that's why God chose him. Maybe I'm next hey :)

Linda was the first interview I've saved. Not because she was "happy" but because of how she encourages herself to believe she is happy. I hope her business really takes off! She deserves a better situation. Also, I am a licensed CNA and it's terrible for her to have her legs in that position. I do believe her drive, positive attitude and faith in God is going to bring her a much better future very soon! ❤❤

Go for it. Its amazing and a lot of fun. You dont have to tell anyone your business. Take your time and think about what's important for you, whats necessary, and live in your own mobile home on 4 wheels. No need to live with friends when you can have your own peace of mind, not being a burden or inconvenience to them, and feel stress free and happy. There are so many ways you can live w/out fear. Working hard just to lose it all is the American trap. You just need you, some income each month, your bare necessities, and food. Live your life freely.

This woman is inspiring, on top of the realization that we get to choose our life style. I hate the word 'homeless'...HOME is thought, place, where we are, comfort, 'nest'. I am loving my life on the road in 104 sq ft of living space. I feel sorry for people who call me "homeless". I HAVE A HOME. It is filled with art, music, love, joy, comfort in a life choice of freedom and happiness. Thank you

@@jolenaagapisou3803 I am sorry for this comment of self-superiority which was voiced here. Webster Dictionary Home:...a place of residence...the social unit formed by a family living together... trying to make a good home for her children comes from a broken home...a familiar or usual setting :congenial environment; also :the focus of one's domestic attention home is where the heart is... 5: an establishment providing care... at home 1: relaxed and comfortable : at ease felt completely at home... 2: in harmony with the surroundings 3: on familiar ground : Your definition of "home" is limited; if from a "broken home" does that mean a building was broken? I forgive you for this ignorance of true Home and the limited view you have. May God expand your thinking and compassion for others...for the Holy Bible states, "...judge not lest ye be judged..." and it speaks of glass houses. People that dwell in framed houses can be so far from harmony and joy. Whereas a person in an RV, lighthouse, boathouse (which can move from port to port), or a barn can have great joy in their home experiences.

We had a ford station wagon back in the 70's and I'd love to one like that now. It was really spacious and the very storage area you could pull up the floor and it created another seat. It was like a hidden compartment. That would be a perfect camping vehicle for one person. I don't think I'd like driving one of those big RV's or school bus or haul a big long travel trailer. It would be great to have the space, but I feel like it would be scary like switching lanes or making turns or finding parking. I guess you get used to it, but I'm afraid I'd be sideswiping things and running over pedestrians lol.

A few years ago I fell asleep in my recliner and my wife left me there. The next morning my back did not ache. HMMMMMmmmm. I tried it again and again with the same result. The firmness of my recliner is similar to your car seat. It sounds crazy, but a recliner has saved me a lot of pain. I still sleep there. Did this in Nissan Rogue for 6 months. All city dwelling to save money. Very excitting, new place each day, stay in million dollar neighborhoods, easy to be stealthy. Had gym membership for showers, PO Box, ..oh yes I rented tiny storage unit for stuff I did not want in my car. Easy if you do it in darker car inside, use black to cover up no one would ever know. Easy way to learn that if shtf you can survive.

WHAT I have found consistently and fascinating is that to a man and woman, everyone who lives in their vehicles, especially out West(in Massachusetts now; not for much longer, I’m priced out), is that they all appear to be highly intelligent people, who have led accomplished lives and are geniuses at critical thinking skills. I’ve entered “Phase One”, so to speak, of my car living journey out West-LEARNING. Taking it all in. I cannot thank you enough. God bless all you good people. You literally ARE life-savers!
