Your tip using the drill bit work flawlessly. Very easy. I do recommend taking the carb off and to remove the primer pump. It’s just easier to manage and you are less likely to melt any plastic parts. Thanks man.

I used the extractor that came in my cheap hipa carb adjustment tool kit, but if they strip out your method does work!

I do basically the same thing, but I use a precision screw driver, but I like the drill bit trick better, so I'll try that the next time one of these honery little buggers comes in. Thanks for the tip!

Yup I saw Sony boy's video earlier. He had a special tool but mower medic showed us another way if you don't have a tool.

My 20+ year old SM2100 had 2 adjustment screws the were marked as such color coded too and easily reached at the top of carb, change is not always for the better.

If you don't have heat don't worry, I was able to drill into the plastic plug and pull it out.

2020 srm 225 i already had to change the carb and spark plug. Bought a Stihl fs56 to see what its about and its not comfortable like the 225. Next season im getting another spark plug carb 😂.

Hi! I think that could be good idea to use a very small heated threading tool to extract the plastic, because can take the plastic better due to the teeth. Sorry for my english! I have a very cheap walbro and cant fix it. That's because I found your video. Kind Regards.

@@dclawnmaintenanceandsnowre4099 the good tech Dony boy used a specialty tool from Stihl to remove the plugs , so Mower Medic offers a quicker solution if you have a torch and drill bit close at hand , especially if only 1 time thing but for less handy folks the Stihl tool is easier even tho expense and trouble chasing it down .

I cant get my wall bero style carb to return properly anymore Do you have a vid showing assembly of that side (low speed side) where the flap and spring connect plate sits on top of that then the throttle cable connects to piece on top of that. If this makes any sense
