Do you find f1.8 too small a depth of field to find focus with?

Hi PS, No, I haven't had that issue with video. I LOVE the video this lens produces. I think I read that the camera doesn't even open it up to f1.8 during video anyway. The only issue I have is that I sometimes wish for a wider angle lens. That will be my next purchase for the A55. For stills, yes, f1.8 is too small sometimes, especially for people and especially more for more than one person in the shot.

NHSKIKING, perhaps you are commenting about the wrong video. You are the first to bring the word "backcountry" to this video. As the person who shot the video, edited, and posted it, nowhere did I use the word "backcountry." Thanks for your great attitude though.
