Hey luke I ski Cannon as my home mountain every weekend but can't find bear gut or gunsight so if next time you go could you take a video of you getting to beer gut and gunsight. By the way, I love the South Bowl. Hope to see you skiing.

goofy good fun
Is this Bunny? nice edit btw
absolutely baffles me that nobody skis the south bowl at cannon. I've skiied it countless times and it is never touch. Mittersill is nice but since the new chair it has lost its character i much prefer the south bowl back country to this now

To bad you've never skied the line in this video since you'd never be able to find cause you're not as much of a legend and you talk your self up to be. Let me know what the glade I'm skiing is called please it's existed forever😃.

I spotted a hidden trail on mitersill it’s called TOWER 11 GLADE you can spot it while riding up the double and it’s directly to the left of tower #11 of the double chair

The south bowl ? Where is the south bowl I’ve skied all of cannon

Project_ _Prescott it’s just like it sounds... South of the ski area. The name indicates everything between Cannon Cliff and the Hi-Cannon Hiking Trail. The hiking trail is by far the easiest way down, and itself requires several ledge drops. There are several know lines in the bowl, some man made, some naturally occurring. Without a guide, everything is risking death. Only one or two lines are without big and sketchy cliff drops.
Where exactly do you have to go to get to this glade area. and also... When you talk about the South Bowl does that mean the area inbetween Cannon and Mittersill and is that area sorta cut??

South Bowl is FAR FAR skier’s right of Vista Way, from the summit. It can only be attempted in early spring of an HUGE snow year. Every last inch of it would rank double black EVERYWHERE out west. Many seemingly enticing lines completely cliff out, with nasty landings of jagged evergreens and razor sharp rocks. The odds of a world class expert safely navigating it without a knowledgeable guide are very low. I know three lines in the area. There are several others. They all end up at the Lafayette Campground in Franconia Notch. Best way is to do it on a Saturday, when the tram is running and all the sledheads are out in the notch on their snowmobiles. If you bring a length of good rope, the chances of a sledhead towing you back to the Tram are pretty good. If you go out there without telling people EXACTLY where you are going with a high degree of precision and accuracy; if you get injured, you will likely die. It’s an enormous area. Your body is unlikely to be found easily. This is why almost no one skis there, despite it being definitely the steepest sustained pitch lift served skiing in the east. But there’s a better line: No sharp rocks Steep as fuck Plenty open Dead ass straight 45 degrees or better for 1,800 vertical feet, right to the road (or Profile Lake so watch it) Name of the line/area is “little hobacks.” Do only when tram is running. Skier’s right of Kinsman Ridge Trail Skier’s left of absolutely and inevitably deadly Cannon ☠️CLIFF ☠️ Can see it from the road by the exit for the tram. It’s very obvious. Catch is... the entrance is gut sinkingly close to the top of the ☠️CLIFF☠️. Like... it creeps me out just thinking about it.
