If we were talking about regular Cannabis you'd be 100% right asking that question. I tried that shit and took a REALLY small dose. I ended up with tremors, confusion so bad I could barely order lunch, had cold sweats and I couldn't even walk at one point. I thought about going to the hospital. Actual Cannabis has never done that to me. This synthetic crap is fucking dangerous dude.

It is very very miniscule in natural plants, but we've known about delta 8 and have researched it since about the 40's, in animal and human tests, it shows that is has essentially the same safety profile as regular, delta 9 THC. I think she is mad because it takes some traffic away from her business of getting people med cards so they can purchase delta 9 cannabis

I came here because I’m concerned about delta 8 regulation. I’m disappointed in how bias this is. She fails to address the possibility that 25 mg of delta 8 THC is not equivalent to 10 mg of delta 9 THC. I am very sensitive to regular THC (delta 9). 10 mg of delta 9 will mess me up. 20 mg of delta 8 gives me a good stable high that’s not overwhelming like 10 mg of delta 9. Objectively speaking, it’s like saying Adderall 30 mg XR is equal to Vyvanse 30 mg. Yeah, both are amphetamines, BUT they are not the same chemical composition. Adderall is dextroamphetamine AND Levi amphetamine. As opposed to Vyvanse, which is just Dextroamphetamine. Additionally, Vyvanse has a lower potency. To get a Vyvanse equivalent dosage to 30 MG XR of Adderall, it would need to be at least 50 MG of Vyvanse! Coming back to my point, this SAME logic applies to delta 8 versus delta 9!!!! If you want to call yourself a doctor, be objective. I’m very disappointed in this video.

What exactly is a professional cannabis user? The sub milligram doses you cited as common for THC wouldn't even be felt by the vast majority of first time users.

i am hypersensitive to THC, very low tolerance and an occasional user, and i need roughly 6-7 mg to get high, so yeah sub milligram is essentially microdosing, you wont feel a thing even with 0 tolerance. also delta 8 is a lot less potent than delta 9, so you would probably have to take around 15mg to feel what 10mg of delta9 would be. roughly.

The biggest part thing I hate about Delta 8 is that withdrawal symptoms really suck when it comes to Everyday smokers. I don't see a lot of other negative aspects that come with this substance, however it is incredibly hard to concentrate academically while using delta-8 consecutively.

So far heard the first few seconds of this video and its already hard to listen . Delta 8 is just simply a changed form of natural cannabis and no its not like k2 because that was man made this is modified synthetically but it still has the same structure of the natural state of cannabis but just one molecule changed. With this change it allows us to consume a lower concentrated form of cannabis . Meaning this is like the beer version of alcohol and its meant to control the high you want better . There is now an option for new consumers to try out cannabis for the first time . The problem with delta 8 currently is its not regulated which you can argue is a good or bad thing . But I say the lack of knowledge of what to get and where to get d8 is the main issue here. On the top of my head 3chi, skyhio, cannaclear , refferbay are trust worthy because they have been lab tested by many different companies. This is the simplest way I can explain those so again get Delta 8 from trusted sources and you should be fine .

Hello my people. I was taking does gummys for 5 month. Im out of Hospital today. I Stop taking them like 8 days ago. And its because of them my health has been deteriorate. I have sever stomach issue and pain that doesn't go away that fast, heart problem. And OMG , im only 32 years old. I was in the Emergency room twice already. I was 1 min away from dying. Still I cant function right. I have sever vision problem , hair lose, sever skin problem. Please im begging all of you not to take them. From taking 2 gummys in a day, i went up to 6 gummys. Delta 8 is synthesized from CBD isolate in a lab using acids and ethanols. When you use an acid and an ethanol to change the isomer of a compound you create byproducts such as heavy metals and mercury. Since the market isn’t regulated, there is difficulty trusting the product you are getting. It can claim to be lab tested on the packaging, but if there’s no regulation how can you trust that claim?

I have had a bad experience on D 8 . The dosage was way too high and no warning. I took 25 m and it was awful - could not function , it was dangerous.

This is a very poorly informed video that is leaning on fear, uncertainty, and doubt. I would not be surprised to discover that this was funded by the cannabis industry, who is frustrated that a less regulated product is now competing with them for market share.

I bought a Pachamama disposable vape from a vape store in NC while I was on vacation and despite my concerns it does in fact get me high, very pleasantly I might ad. So they'll say will how do we know that these companies aren't just sticking delta-9 THC in these vapes and passing it off as delta-8. Will without being able to test it yourself I guess you won't know. However I'd consider myself lucky if this was the case in a cartridge that I purchased. Though I highly doubt a company would risk selling delta-9 carts as delta-8 unless it were some kind of mistake or mishap. Anyways on the box of the vape I purchased it just says pacha instead of pachamama. I got the wedding cake one which is supposed to be indica. I quit smoking conventional Marijuana years ago due developing schizoaffective disorder. I noticed smoking would enhance the effects of my disorder and cause elevated anxiety and near panic attacks. So I decided to quit. I couldn't resist trying this delta-8 stuff when I saw it for sale in the store since I thought it was awesome i was able to buy a THC product through those means. Like I said the high is very pleasant and I do enjoy it. I don't know if it is potent enough to be an option for someone with a high tolerance to delta-9 like someone who smokes regularly and has for many years. But for me, it's very nice. I would say the high is very similar to delta-9 but I'm unsure of how accurate that statement would be due to the fact I haven't used delta-9 in so long. I'm hoping I will be able to continue to purchase it legally from head shops and vape stores. If your considering trying it and are in a position where you are not at risk of being drug tested from your place of employment.. Id recommend it.. However If you are employed and they do perform drug tests I would avoid it though. From what I read there's a chance you could test positive for delta-9 and it doesn't seem like there has been enough tests on whether delta-9 drug tests will catch it or not. Recreational highs are NOT worth losing your job over. Let's just hope my balls don't fall off due to some weird unknown side effect... So far haven't noticed any negative symptoms and there probably won't be any. I'm sure the media and the government will be spewing all kinds of nonsense about how it kills so many brain cells you won't be able to wipe your own ass when you hit the age of 64. You know, it'll be the downfall of our communities causing rampant crime and rape on the sidewalk right? I'm sure due to consuming it I'm less likely to be a good person. There's no way some pot head could be an upstanding member of the community. All those people do is watch paint dry and Masturbate while picturing their sister naked. You know real Scum of the earth. God forbid there be safe easily accessible highs, Satan would just come up out of the depths of hell and f_ck us all with his massive collection of firey four foot dildos. Delta 8 is not a joke. I have to take so many more hits to simulate a d9 high like 25 hits to get what 3 hits of d9 would do, so I ended up smoking like 10 grams of it in 3 weeks and edibles. I then quit cold turkey and right now as I type I am experiencing severe physical withdrawal symptoms that I have never had before. However this is very important that everyone interested in d8 should know. A milder high does not mean milder withdraw symptoms. Also bare in mind my delta 8 carts had all these weird noids like THC-x THC-p the whole thc alphabet. So anyway after just 1 day of not using the next day I had shakes, feeling hot then cold then both at the same time, manic energy, confused, standing in a room talking to myself for no reason, no sleep at all not even a single second and still feeling high strung, mild tremors and some very mild hallucinations but the absolute worse is the loss of appetite. I don't know if you remember the very early strain of COVID that made people lose their appetite and cause food to taste like sand paper but that's exactly what it feels like. Now I'm already underweight being almost 5"10 and only 118 pounds. But for almost 3 days now I haven't been able to eat at all. I have lost at least 5 pounds so far. Now down to about 113 and it scares me! The other withdrawal symptoms I can deal with the but the not eating is breaking me. I'm afraid I'm going to loose to much weight and have to go to the hospital. I can only hope the withdrawals clear up soon but I have no idea how much longer that could be. So I checked into a rehab as an out patient not an in one, just so I could get some help so I could eat again before I shed anymore weight. It seemed kind of over dramatic but I live alone and I really didn't know what else to do. Try as I may there just wasn't a single piece of food i could bare to get down. I have never done hard drugs before in my life I don't even drink caffeine because I didn't like the idea of being physically addicted to it. Then out of no where I was blindsided with what felt like a cocktail of physical withdrawal symptoms. It has been very dramatic to say the least. I have taken tolerance breaks from d9 before and simply had 1 or 2 restless nights then I was 100% fine. Besides what is the big deal about delta 8 anyway? It is so weak. It is like smoking resin or year old d9. I dunno why people go out of there way to try and defend it. Not to mention some of the noids like thc-p are only 5 years old! No one even really knows wtf it is or exactly what it is doing except its supposedly 33x stronger than delta 9 and might be part of the reason I got such a rapid tolerance and withdrawals. After all this was only from 3 weeks of use. Not to mention the market for it is highly unregulated and very sketchy. If you live in an illegal state I really hope you read this. Delta 8 is a shitty, low grade, shady wtf is in this shit crap replacement for d9. It is peasant weed. Its what kings and queens would give to the commoners as they horded all the d9 to themselves. Or maybe its a government experiment on American citizens who knows? I just wish I had the money back I wasted experimenting with it. It is a lot cheaper than d9 but it's just total shit. I have actually relapsed a bit and got some thc-p gummies but i only eat em twice a week, taking 4 or to 5 day breaks to let my cb1 receptors get back to normal. Aside from a lil bit of isomnia during the breaks so far no adverse effects. No matter what happens I will never quit weed altogether lmao.

Delta 8 isomer has a double hydrogen bond on the 8th carbon chain, whereas Delta 9 has its double hydrogen bond on chain #9, Delta 10 on #10 and so on. D8 doesn’t occur naturally, rather the isomer is created using an acid + alcohol synthesis of CBD isolate in a laboratory. Byproducts are created in this chemical process, which can include heavy metals and mercury. The industry is unregulated so packaging doesn’t mean much. But you knew this - you’re the expert, right?
