WOW! living in one of these it's like being on vacation every day of your life, you can handle almost anything work throws at you; just knowing you get to retreat in such a surreal home. It would be easier to say what I Don't like " the two wooden native sculptures" (personal reasons. than what I DO like, Everything else. A note that skylight with the running plants , can you imagine after a year or two when that plant hangs much lower how much more beautiful drama it would add to an already dramatic space? Love it.

Thanks Travor. How much for land lease? Is it a lumpsum pay, fixed installments for 28 years or is it variable? Any info on transfer stamp duty and annual property taxes?

How big is the land please?

Whats the renew contract on the leasehold? After 27 years, do we get to renew lease at market value of land?

This is correct as long as you have an agreement with the land owner to extend which is quite common. But yes market value of land is what you pay when extending - the land owner doesn't get to pick some arbitrary price/mark up.

What happens after the 28 year lease hold?

You can usually opt to extend the lease of the land with the owner at market value of the land.

After the 28 years you can extend the land lease directly with the landowner at market price. The extension is for the land value only with out the building 👍🏻
