What is crazy is Canelo giving John Ryder a shot & nobody wants to see that fight but won't fight David B.

Another thing that would be nice is if I could know what referee was working a certain bout before I bought the PPV. I hated Richard Steel, and would not order a PPV just for the fact if I knew ahead of time that he was going to be referring the fight. Same here with the DB fight.

I can never hear Canelo when he speaks. There is always some background noise or something to distort the sound some kind of way. You would think people would want to hear what Canelo has to say more than anyone. He is the face of boxing and p4p the king.

I know everybody, including me, wants to see Canelo vs. Benavidez. People are saying Canelo is ducking Benavidez, which isn't the case. He moved up a weight class to fight Bivol for the WBA light heavy weight, which was a more difficult fight than the Benavidez fight. I know it's annoying that Canelo is fighting Ryder instead of Benavidez for a mandatory comeback fight, but then again, he just came back from wrist surgery. It wouldn't be fair for him to come back to fight Benavidez right after surgery.

Canelo is trying to unify titles in different weight classes and taking bigger risks. How exactly is that ducking when he is trying to make history. @lilsaff Fighting for titles is more important than fighting someone who has no title. Thats whats come in the modern world of boxing. Canelo already secured his spot in the Hall of Fame of Boxing. He wants to prove himself to be the best Mexican boxer. So far, his accomplishments in boxing are written in stone. That's something you can't take away from him. In 2022, he unified 3 belts to become undisputed. How many boxers do you know do that in 1 year? What's wrong with unifying titles in different weight classes? I get your frustration. Everybody wants to see Canelo vs. Benavidez. Charlo is a bum boxer. First of all, he hasn't fought in over 3 years. He doesn't deserve a fight with Canelo in the first place. He was making it difficult for Canelo to pick him in the first place. He overvalued himself, asking for too much money. Spence wanted a catch weight fight with Canelo at 164lbs, and Canelo respectfully declined. Fighting for the Undisputed 168lbs in a catch weight sounds ridiculous. Benavidez could've fought Canelo if he still had his WBC belt at the time, but he tested positive for Cocaine and lost his title on the scale. Don't disregard that information about David. The fight could've happened sooner if David had something to offer. The Makabu fight didn't happen because it lacked popularity, and no one really knew who he was that was correct. And if you watched the Bivol vs. Joe Smith Jr. fight, you can notice that Canelo was not going to have an easy fight with Bivol. Bivol's boxing IQ is fundamentally impressive. The fight with GGG was to put the trilogy to an end with the controversial draw and MD win by Canelo , which Canelo put an end to it by winning by unanimous decision. Please Enlighten me about any other points you have that you have not already mentioned.

I am personally getting tired of hearing people say Canelo knocked Caleb out, and Benavidez couldn't. These are the people that most likely did not order the fight, and are going based on highlights alone. If you watched the whole fight you would not only see Caleb holding on tight to David pretty much the whole fight , especially when David had him up against the ropes which he did not do with Canelo , but also the referee would not let them fight! Take away those two facts, and David would have knocked his ass out worse then Canelo did. I remember at one point the fight (and I was mad as hell!!!) is when DB was really starting to poor it on Caleb, and at this ONE point Caleb was not holding, yet for no reason at all the referee stepped into the the middle of them to break them up. Un fucking real.

Dude... Plant was ready to go but was allowed to clench while David was penalized for FIGHTING OUT OF THE CLENCH LMAO. So Benavidez would have to wait for the ref to break it up while Plant just held on to him, rds 9 & 10 he was ready to go but the ref saved him. Plus Canelo landed that SINGLE punch meanwhile David gave him an ass whoopin 💀. Plant Vs Canelo was close till that Ko.

@@vtleader2334 Benavedes been his mandatory since 2021 and is a more well known fighter who every boxing talking head/spectator knows and sells more tickets and ultimately the bigger fight. So that whole “it’s because it’s his mandatory is a cop-out / deflection. Benavedes already spars with Bivol in no world Canelo gets him out if anything it might end up being worse the 2nd time around, there’s no date set on that rematch. Source - boxingnews24 Benavidez (26-0, 23 KOs) says he’s already been Canelo’s mandatory for the last three fights for his World Boxing Council title, and he captured the interim WBC belt 168-lb belt last May with his third round knockout win over David Lemieux in Glendale, Arizona. It’s unclear why the WBC hasn’t forced Canelo to defend or give up his belt with their organization because they should have already ordered him to defend against Benavidez because he’s been his mandatory since his 11th round knockout win over Ronald Ellis in March 2021.

I don't see why everyone keeps thinking Canelo is ducking, if his goal is to fight a much bigger challenging fight than Benavidez that should be good enough, Benavidez after his fight with Plant still needs improvement in fact it seems he used the same idea that Canelo used when he fought Plant, to wear him down and then go for the win in the later rounds. Benavidez was so sure he would get a knock out and failed so yea he needs to improve before even thinking of a Canelo fight. Maybe a fight with Charlo or Andrade would make a more interesting one.

There's only 2 fight I am interested in. Well 3 but ones in the making already. Canelo vs Benevidas, Spence vs Crawford, and the up and coming fight with Tank. Call me, wake me up when these 3 fight is about to take place in 5 seconds. Anything else is a waste of my time.

The benavidez fight wont happen until next year. The bivol is rematch is pretty much a done deal. Plus David still has a 2 fight contract with showtime.

If anything Canelo is doing Benavidez a favor, if they fight in September there’s no way Canelo losing Benavidez not good enough right now to beat Canelo

Nothing is going to change until his fans safe enough with the shenanigans.

Canelo is a competitor first. People are forgetting he has a loss to Bivol and he wants to avenge that in a rematch after Ryder. He’s not the type to leave a close fight or loss unfinished. That’s why he fought GGG 3x. Benavidez can wait until 2024. Given from what I saw in the Plant fight, Benavidez needs 1 or 2 more fights vs top fighters before if he wants to be competitive vs Canelo.

Barring any injuries for either fighter, &/or a Benavides loss, Canelo & Benavides will fight the soonest on May 5 2024 or September 16 2024. Canelo will rematch Bivol in September 2023. Idk y anyone is surprised, Canelo has had this plan for a year now.
