Candle wax and liquid oxygen-powered rocket to launch out of SA

Astrophysicist and cosmologist Dr Brad Tucker explains the complexities of launching rockets out of South Australia.
Aerospace company Southern Launch was due to launch one of the biggest commercial rockets ever launched in Australia this afternoon over the South Australian outback.
The Light This Candle mission is so-called because it deploys propulsion technology that combines candle wax with liquid oxygen.
“Weather is always an issue; you want to make sure the winds aren’t blowing around too much,” Dr Tucker told Sky News Australia.
“The ideal rocket place is a desert at the equator.”
“You also do want predictable weather, which is one of the advantages down there.”

We need all the supplies of candle wax possible because of Bowen’s net zero renewables that doesn’t supply enough energy at nighttime

China are working on a solar electric rocket that they can sell to climate alarmist suckers from the west for massive amount of moola. Hope it doesn't get too cold out in space. .... or should i say in our upper atmosphere?

I've done some research as a rocket hobbyist. Paraffin, "candle wax" and an oxidizer is an excellent rocket fuel. This thing is going to outer space, or I have missed my mark.

A normal rocket can only exhaust around 10,000mph. Makes you wonder how they got to Mach 23 to get to space??

You said normal. One of the reasons they stage rockets is the first stage has a nozzle for atmosphere while the 2nd stage and up have vacuum nozzle which is a different shape. Then other things like the pressure within the combustion chamber all come into play.
