Canadian Quarter Coin Hunt and Collection Fill - Any Rare Coins?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Since I have a good amount of Canadian Quarters (well - I have my fair share being in the states), I figured I would hunt though all of my Canadian Quarters to start filling up my Albums.
It's been something I have wanted to do for quite some time - since I already have my Canadian Penny and Canadian Nickel Albums near complete and I have a good start on my Canadian Dimes as well!
During this hunt, I take the time to look for several of the Rare and Valuable Canadian Quarters to familiarize myself with the different varieties that can be found. I also tried to make sure that the video was informative while still being as fun as I could make it.
A few notes:
1951 Canadian Quarter has 2 varieties: High and Low Relief
1973 Canadian Quarter has 2 varieties: Small and Large Bust
1978 Canadian Quarters to look for: Small and Large Denticles
The 1951 Low Relief is a very valuable coin and the 1973 Large Bust also has good value.
** I will provide information on all three years listed above **
Hope you enjoyed the video and if so, let me know if you'd like to see even more Foreign coin hunts like this one.
Keep hunting and good luck!
They're still out there for us to find!

Recently got into hunting, love the videos. So I have decided to just hunt quarters and as you know, they are a hard hunt. After 8 boxes I haven't found any silver but have found 1 2019 W. Today I went to the bank to return unwanted quarters and when I went to the teller I saw a silver looking coin in her coin tray. As luck would have it, someone brought in their unwanted change and it was a 1962 Denver! The coin machine wouldn't take it so she exchanged it with the teller. Super lucky, first silver found (kinda) lol

In Minnesota, if check coinstars regularly when you go by them, you will typically see quite a few Canadian dimes and quarters. I have five or six Canadian silver dimes and for silver Canadian quarters, all from coinstar machines. I also found a 1969 Canadian quarter on a 1968 80% silver planchet, the only one I found coin roll hunting

Found two 2 silvers in a roll today hunting canadian quarters. Nice video👍 o hey for the 1973 there is a easier way to check. On the large bust the beads will look like they are touching the rim. While on the small bust they are farther away. Also you can compare the queens. If you have two 1973 and one queen is larger it's a large bust👍

The 1973 Large Bust quarter is a lot easier to distinguish than you think. The dentincles touch the rim on the Large Bust vs the the Small Bust where the denticles don't touch the rim. Very simple and takes just one second to see the difference. And of course the Large Bust is worth hundreds of dollars vs 25 cents for the Small Bust. Also the queen's portrait is much larger on the Large Bust variety.

Actually there is a lot easier way to determine if you have a 1973 large bust variety. Just compare your 1973 obverse to a 1972 Canadian Quarter obverse, if they are the same you have a large bust 1973. I explain this in one of my videos, Hope this helps.

Wow, I can officially say I have a more complete collection of coins than RobFindsTreasure, never thought I'd see the day, lol. I wanted to get these albums for myself, but unfortunately, the website only allows shipping to the US and Amazon's sellers are all fairly expensive
