I agree. I’m 67 grew up in a small rural town pop 3000. Moved to larger town pop 19000 graduated hs. Moved to Portland or. And the values were basically the same. Right n wrong truth was truth.

I'm 63, and since I was 18, I watched society go extremely downhill since then. And here we are today, just as was written 2000 years ago

I remember when I was in first grade, I sat in the back of the classroom next to the bulletin board. And on that board was a poster of how man evolved from a monkey to a person. I remember thinking how wrong that was because even at the age of six, I knew that man was created in the image of God. I never have believed in evolution.

Many, many, many have stopped going to physical churches because most churches have gone ‘woke’ leaving God’s authority behind, however it doesn’t mean believers aren’t going to church. We changed to small groups and online church.

I remember prayer in Scarborough, Ontario public schools in the 80’s. Then I remember them no longer praying aloud and silent prayer taking its place in the 90’s. Now, there is nothing and the student behaviours are appalling!

One of the main reasons that Christians are hated, unfortunately is because of White supremacists and colonialism. European explorers and colonists used the Bible,as their excuse to commit serious crimes against other people. Even though the New Testament never told those who believe in Jesus to do such things ! Killing and enslaving others is forbidden. Stealing children and forcing them to attend residential schools was definitely an anti- Christian act right there. Of course, this is bad for Jesus' reputation. At least in the Western Hemisphere, this historical injustice is what comes to mind, and people need to make sure this won't happen again !!

I came to Canada a couple of years ago as a student with the intention of staying permanently, after the changes I got to perceive not just culturally but economically and socially, I'm not eager to staying anymore, what surprises me the most it's how oblivious some people seemed to be about it, even some Christians.

As a Christian I know Heaven is my eternal home. Until this moment I thought it right to live and let live. MYOB. I have said time and again, that I am going to live until I die, even recently. Suddenly I understand how carelessly wrong those thoughts are. And I realize that God has given me purpose. I understand only now as I never have before how truly lost I have been in this world. I have been so discouraged with Canadian politics. Distorted views and outright lies regarding environment, the ozone, the earth, the land, seas, flora and fauna...all of it! I thought my purpose was to protect what I can, to respect God's creation in regards to the world, earth itself. Leaving only footprints. Picking up trash and such, endeavoring to leave every place I visit better than I found it. Today I understand my purpose more clearly. I know life on earth is temporary. My purpose to spread the word. To focus on life. To understand more and more of Jesus's love for all. To share His word. He offers us salvation. I have lived several decades believing my purpose was to work, to provide, to earn my way in this world. To purpose to leave this world better than I found it. Only love can save our souls. Jesus died for us. That is love. I have loved the beauty of wilderness areas, enjoying the warmth of the sun, the sparkle of sun shining on fresh clean snow. Beautiful sunsets, the feel and sound of floating on my back in a lake surrounded by mountains and trees. I love and enjoy only as much of this earth as I can. But what about people? God loves us all. He offers us eternity. Sharing His word as lovingly and peacefully as I can is my purpose. Kinda cool that today, on Valentines Day, this clarity came to me.

I'm a Christian men with two kids, for three years I haven't be a church, tge last time tge a took my kids to the church here in ontario, I couldn't stay that because tge way tgey teaching, and preaching the gospel. This whole idea of a pre-tribulation rapture, to the best of my knowledge, did not exist until sometime in the mid-1800s. The term for this belief is dispensationalism. A preacher during the 1800s needed more money for his church, his membership was dwindling, so he came up with the idea of dispensing with the idea that Christians would have to suffer during the tribulation. People loved it and his funds increased, but did he preach what will really come to be? I guess only time will tell, but it makes no sense to me that the saints had to suffer, but we won't have to. If ever there was a time when the people needed to be tested by God for their faith, it would be now.

I attended public schools in small towns, back in the 70's-80's. They were still sound then. We still had the Lord's Prayer in homeroom, and sang the national anthem regularly and God Save Queen at assemblies. Both anthems are hymns, that apparently are almost never sang anymore, and if you're lucky, they might just play them, but we had to know them and sing them, often the full versions, which are very God based. We still had spanking, which didn't hurt us any. Spankings were rare and never were abused, so we listened. There was no assaulting teachers back then. We still had home ec for girls and shop for boys, but we could take either one if we chose. Almost no one chose the other though, other than an occasional boy that was interested in girls already.

My parents moved to British Columbia when I was in second grade in 1972 from the States. In grade school then our teachers would read us a Bible story every afternoon. All of us kids would sit on the floor in the classroom around our teacher listening to the Bible story. We all loved it. So sad that Canada has fallen from Grace. But the US never read Bible stories to us. I didn't get that till my parents moved to Canada. Our schools in the US have always been pushing evolution. That's not a recent thing. It's very sad that both countries have fallen considering these countries were founded on Christianity. But I think we need to focus on Daniel and revelation these things will all transpire before Christs second coming. There is no avoiding it. Unfortunately most churches are not teaching the prophecies so that people have the knowledge they need to navigate through end times.

You hit it right on the head. Children and the younger generations, are taught, what to think and not how to think!!!

It was the same for me, although I was raised Roman Catholic. No one around me could answer the objections I had, and of course I wasn't equipped to answer them myself, so I concluded that the atheists had the stronger arguments. That's why apologetics is so important: scientism and materialism are being woven with powerful propaganda to lead many astray. I didn't become a Christ follower until some of my objections were countered at a Veritas Forum event and I experienced the love of God through the members of a Christian fellowship at my university.

I went through similar exp. for more than 18y. But when I came back to my Jesus Christ the Greatest Ever and Most High. I followed some debates on Utube (and others) and found out the FAKE theories of the atheists(that are based on other theories and not on facts) , studies based on wrong sampling, the portable 'bones workshop' that they carry with them to alter found bones to suit their own purposes, the highly inaccurate aging methods, exaggeration in goal(s) reached, etc...

You're essentially saying their ministries - all evangelical ministries, really - are pointless because God just supernaturally inspires all new believers.

@@rickh9396 Did you stay w/ Catholicism when you came back to Christianity? Also, I don't think the person was trying to say that evangelism is pointless. God most often works through people. Sometimes though, he just intervenes privately in our lives too. I've heard some very varied testimonies on that. Usually there is another believer, mabye a church they went to or were drawn to, but God comes to people in dreams, or when they just reach the end of their tether and cry out to God alone.

​@@saintejeannedarc9460 I never accepted Roman Catholicism. I won't get too deep into that, but I've attended a non-denominational evangelical church for decades. Before that I was involved in a Baptist student fellowship in college and attended both Baptist and non-denominational services on and off campus. The other commenter's entire point was that apologetics is useless because, "It's supernatural... Not argumentative." I see anti-intellectualists like that pop up now and then ranting against "Greek philosophy" and the like, usually because they don't understand it. The Bible is full of apologetic arguments in which God reminds Israel of the miracles He performed for them, and then tells them to repent and turn back to Him. Jesus invited Thomas to feel His wounds so he could believe what he was seeing. You don't necessarily have to understand apologetics or even come to Christ partially via an "argumentative" path. Many people are saved as children and believe their entire lives. God bless them. But there are many people who are being led astray by Satan's sinister work through atheist scientists and philosophers. The Doubting Thomases should not be abandoned to Darwinism and other ideologies on the theory that if God wants us saved, he will choose us and compel us to believe via supernatural methods. (That's the whole point of this channel.) We have a choice in whether we want to follow God or not. I believe that if God appears to someone, it's only because he/she was already sincerely seeking Him.

That is dangerous for humans, and we need God all the more!

Ever so sadly as the authentic austere Scriptural Jesus the Christ _[God]_ taught, most shall end up in the Lake of Fire for rejecting the true John 3:1-21 Gospel.

I have been a Christian for a long time and when I first heard the gospel when I was very young. I did not need to be pursued with understanding or to peruse a debate about what I had heard . When I heard the truth I knew it was the truth and that lead me to-read deeper in the scriptures. And even today the truth is unfolding. Truth is revealed through Gods Spirit ,and if you don’t have that you will never know the truth.

Good warnings. A few will heed. Jesus said not to fear, but to wait, watch and pray. He also admonished us to get extra oil for our lamps. There will be a "falling away" in the church. Keeping God in the center of our focus in the ways He laid out will result in our standing in the end. His plan was not for us to fight against the world, but to love one another and our enemies too. Press into Jesus.

I can tell you’ve never been to the creation museum. This is just a small room set up along the path through the very large museum. Not everyone in the museum is near there when a speaker is present. And if I remember correctly, you have to pay extra to be in there

LOL - You got the verse wrong. Depending in which "translation" you use, it says: "... is as a thousand years ..." or "... is like a thousand years ...." Both 'is as' and 'is like' are comparative contrasting phrases, not definitive phrases. So it, it basically means that a day to the Lord is a long period of time - not a finite period of time.

All wisdom and knowledge is found in Christ. As the lies of the world are more prevalent. I realize the TRUTH is so important. JESUS ✝️ Is the TRUTH the way and the life. ❤

Thinking themselves wise, they became fools. Thus is the state of academia today.

I am so thankful that God has given me total faith in His word. I no longer struggle with any of these issues. While I continue to learn so that I can give good answers and lead people toward truth, nothing will alter my faith in the Scriptures. Time and time again it has proven itself and I don’t care if the world thinks me a fool.

Yes! They are. True Christians feel it. Woke up last night 12:30 with an urgency to 🙏 and I did for a long time.

So glad I, 1. had a solid teaching of this from a young age so I knew of the lies about to be taught in school and was able to defend my heart and mind, and 2. had a (catholic) biology teacher in high school who said "now what im about to teach isnt something I believe, but am required to teach as it's the cirriculum. Im no saying you are required to believe it either. It's what is meant to be taught and learned and we can move on soon after." when talking about the theory of evolution. God bless that woman and others like her as well as all the people who teach me truth.

In Art Class, 2nd or 3rd Grade, the teacher asked us to draw something we were grateful for. This was back in the 60's. I drew Christ Crucified on the Cross at Calvary with the two theives. The Art Teacher came up and saw what I had been drawing and she started screaming at me that I was a horrible little girl and I had drawn a horrible picture. She treated me like the Body Snatchers! There is a book, which I've posted a out several times warning parents. "Teaching as a Subversive Activity" it details the process they use to convince children not to believe in God.

In the days of the communist Soviet-Union/USSR the Bible was banned & illegal to teach to kids & Bibles were smuggled into Russia!! In 1992 at the fall of communism & USSR, the Bible was put back in Russian schools!!

My mother is an Old Earth Christian, and that's the mixed belief system I grew up in. I didn't get Saved until 1st year of university (didn't attend church or live out God's word at home, never heard the bible read aloud). After reading through Answers in Genesis over half a decade post-Salvation during my free time at work, I was absolutely stunned and became a Young Earth Creationist in the span of...a day, maybe. Then I confronted my mother's beliefs, stumping her w/ the very simple question: "If death came as the result of Adam and Eve's sin, how did the dinosaurs die?" She realized her belief about the age of the earth contradicted biblical teaching, and I watched her silently wrestle with that for several minutes before conceding that, at the very least, dinosaurs and mankind existed during the same period at some point in our earliest history. Amongst my siblings, I'm the only believer in Young Earth Creationism and am teaching my own children from that perspective. My kids are homeschooled.

I find in America that it's not as much about church attendance. Overall, attendance has declined. The whole is becoming more secular, but those who are real Christians are waking up and becoming stronger. The divide is happening. There is a great falling away and at the same time a Great Awakening. There is no more gray area. The time has come where you can no longer straddle the fence. Choose your side.

Considering all the false doctrine and New Age that has infiltrated churches in the US, I would rather my family & friends would not go at all rather than fall for all the lies. Mind you I want everybody to accept Christ. The tragedy not all will. I would rather for my people that they read the Bible (KJV) for themselves.

Real Christian’s are waking up and becoming stronger? Great awakening? There has never been a gray area. “Real Christians” were never asleep. They have been diligently studying the scriptures to show themselves approved, being like the Bereans, just like scripture commands. “Real Christian’s” have always been strengthened by the word of God. They are not just now becoming stronger. And that’s such an odd phrase, they are becoming stronger. Stronger in what? Stronger for what? To fight secularism? To fight the government? To take back the world? “Real Christians” are commanded to spread the gospel.

Sir if you read these comments: I was adopted as a child right out of a Lutheran Church. Born 1960. Also my little brother and baby sister. So by the late sixties the abolished that and turn it over to the hospitals or institutions. My birth certificate is an adoption paper from the church. I was just born again, last month. Jesus Christ has again opened my eyes widely. We are in the laodicean age. There is not going to be a 2035. If world war 3 is declared before the end of the year, I truly believe that it is the first year of the 7-year tribulation. As I am an American. In God we trust. That truly went out the window 150 years ago

Sunday school was my Bible experience. When my father descended the steps from the main church, he was always beaming and boyish like. And I thought I can't wait to get in there on Sundays. (Which is not really the Sabbath). But that was when the men were in the front of the church and the women were at the back, in their hats. Now church looks like a market place where the women slightly outnumber the men. Only the latecomers sit in the back rows these days. I subscribe to Christian Apps and get 6 verses sent daily with an explanation for each one followed by a prayer. 3 in the morning and three at evening. A prayer for now: Thank you Father for the things that you do for us that we can see. And thank you Father for the things that you do for us that we cannot see. In Jesus's mighty name we thank thee. Amen.

The bible indicates each day as having an instant creation within each day/ evening and morning. I believe! Because God is God and can create things instantly.

In 4th grade we were taught the Big Bang Theory. As an unchurched agnostic kid, I immediately asked the teacher a few questions: 1) from where did the mass come? 2) what caused the explosion? and 3) into what, exactly, is the universe expanding? She told me to ask my parents.

Here's a question to ask, people are saying that the birth rate is dropping dramatically, well, give me 1 good reason to bring a child into this garbage dump hell hole? So that they can be part of the system. No. Never. Not in Eternity. Let the system collapse by letting it fail because you can see it coming. It wasn't happening like it is today, but it WAS already in progress. The comms stated goal was that they would bring our nation down from within, "without firing a shot." They started by infiltrating "The institutions," and by promoting Godless ideologies, especially in our schools and universities. Look up "The 45 Comm****t Goals for America" read on the floor of Congress in 1963. Did they suceed? Many Americans do not know that this evil plan has been slowly progressing since before they were even born. Only now that it has become painfully evident, to they realized the "Sword of Damocles" that HAS been over their head the entire time!

I remember when I was younger, I was like a lot of young people then, and maybe even a lot now. Thinking we were wiser. It's the same kind of foolishness. Some just never grew out of that. And they're the ones spitting hate in the comments. They lack the wisdom to properly see the outcomes of things like DEI and similar foolish policies. For some, maybe give them what they want so that they may see their foolish ideas play out before they change their minds. And unfortunately, for some, they'd rather be stubborn no matter what.

Wow that is such a great presentation! Im not from Canada but taught the same scienctific doctrine on evolution and all that it is said here. As a Christian i believe in Genesis but always struggled to reconcile/interpret both concepts. Are they puzzle pieces from 2 different sets or of the same set cos am having trouble putting the pieces together. It makes a world of difference as a starting point. Thank you for the brilliant clarification. I didn't know the state of things in schools and gender issues in Canada, but now that I do, will keep Canada in my prayers. This is territorial Spiritual Warfare to those who know and warfare is global and it doesn't matter which country you hail from. No one escapes it if you are a citizen of earth. May the Victory of our Lord Jesus comes to pass and presides over Canada. Amen.
