Canadian Engineering Schools Tier List!
Hey everyone! Today I'm doing a Canadian Engineering University Tier List based on the outcomes of their graduates. Let me know if you enjoyed the video by leaving a like a subscribing to the channel. Did you agree with my rankings? Let me know in the comments. I wanted this to be a somewhat impartial view of a universities ability to employ their students once they leave, or the students abilities at that university. Thanks for watching!

Ottawa doesn't seem too bad in terms of employability. The co-op seems pretty nice. Mac has a nice co-op flexibility for rearranging the co-op terms, and Waterloo probably has the best co-op overall. UofT, Queens, and Western have more of a year long internship thing which seem to be decent as well.

Went to Queen's and highly recommend. You learn the same as Waterloo/UofT, can get the same jobs, and have a way better time doing it and make way more friends. While Waterloo's co-op is objectively better than Queen's QUIP program, you can still end up in Silicon Valley if that's what you want.

I can't talk much about the eng program there but Calgary as a city is amazing. Its amazingly clean, people are great and downtown is super awesome.
for mcgill, tuition fees for non quebec residents or non international students are now double
Opinion on Ontario tech Uni(mechatronics program) ?? Shed some light.
OTU is not D. Put is up on A or if ur in ur feels still B
I like how Lakehead didn't even make it on the list
Nice review, but you didn't mention anything about going into grad schools or participating in research in these universities. Not everyone's goal is to find a job immediately after graduation.
@OliverFoote

That is very true. I have had many conversations relating to this and you are right. I'm looking at this from the perspective of someone who is an undergrad that wants to work right away
I *was* going to say that this sort of ranking was silly and pointless, but then I noticed that the two schools from which I hold engineering degrees were both ranked S, so...perfect, no notes. 😂
Can you do for Comp Sci, software eng and IT related unis ASAP

Graduation rate don’t mean anything that’s more if individuals are willing to do their best. That just shows that some dweebs go to the universities maybe. Personally, I wouldn’t listen to this.
please also make video on colleges
This dude needs to give other universities some love. Where are the other engineering schools in Ontario? Brutal!

How come Western is so high up when everywhere else, it doesn't have that good of a reputation ? Yes, it's one of the top schools in Canada no doubt but still, I wish someone would clear it more for me

Don’t agree with this list. Western Engineering is arguably as good if not a bit worse than McMaster and Queens. UofT and Waterloo should be the only S Tier Engineering schools. Sure maybe Western has a high employment match rate, but the quality of those are way lower than the average UofT and Waterloo student

This is not based on prestige. This is based on: match rate, graduation rate, and default rate on student loans. This is an objective list where he did not consider the prestige, campus size, or professor. I am assuming you did not watch the first 1-3 minutes and only went to the end for the tier list.

I'm interested in doing my master's degree in mechanical engineering at Concordia University because it's in Montreal. Do you recommend it or another affordable university? My point is that i want a good experience with affordable cost.

Can you do a separate video for computer science
Can you do one for CS?
Is there an age limit for seeking scholarships for master's degrees?
hi buddy, can I have talk with you, I am planning to study further in canada and I have applied in uni of Alberta... it would be great if you guide me
I wonder where would the University of Calgary and the University of Ottawa fit in this list? Thanks
No engineering jobs in Windsor at all. And most of the jobs are state side but most companies hire American. Schools besides Windsor kids
Opinion on SFU?
Are they best for mechatronics
Where does Concordia University sit?
this man legit put UBC below mcgill and Queens and Alberta what.

What sounds harder to your "ears"? 1. Masters Degree in Accounting or 2. Masters Degree in Statistics?
You are biased. You rated software engineering as S tier,; EE as A tier. Why did you rate computer engineering as B tier? Computer engineering is between software engineering and EE. It is A or A+ by linear interpolation. You don’t have to do any research on it.
What’s your opinion on Concordia University?
